I only have the BTTF Minimates, so I'm not very knowledgeable to details like this. But with the Minimates warped proportions, would a Minimate proton pack be in scale with 3.75" figures? I'm guessing probably not, probably a bit too small...but I was just thinking a couple weeks ago that some 3.75", GI Joe-based Ghostbuster figures would be pretty cool, and the idea of not having to tackle the most complicated aspect(the packs) of the figures was very nice.

An interesting tidbit from Cool Toy Review

Cool Toy Review: First of all, congratulations on the upcoming Ghostbusters line! They look amazng, and I can't wait to add them to my collection. At NYCC it was stated that the 6" Ghostbusters figures would include a ghost with each figure. Only a handful of individual ghost are seen in the film (Slimer, Terror dogs, cab driver, Librarian, & a ghost that rises from a subway entrance). Some of these ghosts are large enough to be individual figures. So, what ghosts will be included with the 6" movie figures?

Mattel: The ghosts that will be packed in with the 6” figures will be all “Slimer scale”. And while there are only a limited number of Ghosts in the films in this scale, we are also looking at the upcoming Atari Video game, the animated series and the original Kenner toy line for inspiration. Monsters like Zeul or the Terror Dogs would get their own figure and would not be shrunk down as a pack in!

They still may not be in scale with Joes, but the Kubrick Ghostbusters are coming with proton packs. Though around 3 inches tall, Kubs have very large, exaggerated torsos. As such, their proton packs may work quite well with GI joes.

The problem is, Ghostbusters Kubricks will be more expensive than Minimates. . .

Have they shown photos of the Bill Murray/Venkman Sculpt yet? I may need to buy a few, and make a Steve Zissou and Carl Spackler figure.

Holy crap $60 bucks for a 12 incher? Better have real cloth and uber cool gear..

Actually $60 would be more toward the low end of the spectrum nowadays. From the bigger companies it might not even include accessories for that price. Mattel on the otherhand? Probably a medium line figure with "ok" gear and accessories. Prepare for the repaints and tune ups.

Thanks very much for the info. I'll keep that in mind.
