This is truly the best sport history that I have ever seen. The other would be Gretzky breaking Gordies record. I was at the Forum to witness this and wish I was there when the Kings hoisted Lord Stanley. One off the bucket list

June 22nd people! Draft day! Trades take place and teams futures are impacted by the draft... I mean look at what Philadelphia got at No. 8! A Ron Francis model in Sean Couterier. ____ing Jets.

Devils will most likely give up their draft pick this year though for the Kovy signing penalty. They have to do so in either of the next 3 years so it makes most sense now as they pick 29th.

We'll see what Lou does though.

So ends another NHL season with a surprise Stanley Cup champ.
It's always nice to see the cup go to a city for the first time.

While I'm happy Brodeur got another shot at the title, he clearly has lost a few steps in his stride. He should seriously consider retiring. I believe Roy retired the year he was up for NHL mvp. That's the way the stars with tremendous pride do it.

He's not going to. But he also proved he can still play with the top goalies in the league. My guess; he plays next year while sort of mentoring one of the devils younger goalies making the transition from the Brodeur era to the Brodeur-less era easier for the organization.

I got chills watching those bunch of men having fun like kids with the Cup in front of their home fans, bringing the Cup to LA for the first time, but I really wish this would've gone to game 7. Now I'm stuck watching NBA play offs and baseball until the NFL season starts. I hate basketball and baseball!

That's like looking at pictures of sports cars before riding your mo-pad to work.
