I'm kinda getting sick of the fights after the big hit these days, its really stupid, especially when most of them start after a clean hit was thrown.

Looks like Luke Schenn could be going to Phili for JVR...fingers crossed, I've never been a fan of Schenn, but I love JVR!

I'd rather see the Leafs try and make out a deal that would land us Bobby Ryan.

Schenn looked pretty bad out there tonight and it was pretty evident as he wasn't out there during the last 4mins of play tonight.

I thought Jonas was solid, maybe let in one questionable goal.Leafs just couldn't get it going on the PP.

Nah, Subban is one of the few on Montreal thats playing with some heart right now.

Sadly you compare him to Avery because you don't know a lick about him, this guy is a two time world junior gold medalist and future star defenseman in the league, also played a pivitol role for the Habs in the playoffs, lots of pressure for a guy his age and he handled it well.

Yea, I'm a big fan of Bobby Ryan too. They are both big, young forwards who can get the points and that's exactly what we need right now. Schenn was god-awful tonight, he was nonexistent on the ice. I've never been a fan of his game, I just think guys like Gunnarson, Franson, and Gardiner are way better than Schenn and should have a secured spot on the roster with Phaneuf, Liles and Komisarek (if he can keep healthy for once).

Jonas was very solid tonight, I think it was the first or second goal that was kinda odd but still, the team just didn't click tonight. Also, as you have already said the PP wasn't happening tonight given the numerous chances.

Leafs are going to need to suck it up and get past the loss and get rested because NYR are going to come out strong and really bring the heat tomorrow night.

Here's hoping he does. I hate immature players who run their mouths all over the ice and then turtle or dive every time a scrap breaks out. He needs to man up and start playing the game with the respect and sportsmanship that it deserves.

Philly is foolish to give up JVR for Schenn and IMO their goal scoring will suffer for it

This is what Burkey was talking about... More and more players don't feel the need to answer the bell anymore. The rat-mentality type of play is beginning to spread throughout the league. Max Lappy is another loudmouth goof who doesn't answer the bell. As much as I like Subban and the Habs, even I think it's time he gets a pounding.

As a Habs fan, I must admit I haven't been impressed by how management has been handling things. Is there a team that lets go of players with less class? And, this language issue has gotten so out of control, it truly is way beyond just the game. You guys living outside the province have no idea how suffocating this issue has become for anglophones who live in Montreal... Some of these hardcore language fanatics are so out to lunch and aggressive, you can't help but feel things will only get worse until the law steps in and recognizes them for the utter racists and hate mongerers that they are. They sell hate and intolerance and superiority and I'm sad to say that more and more people are buying into it here. It's deplorable.

Well I for one think it slightly shows you guys as a joke when you trade one of your best players in the middle of a game after he made some comments regarding team mentality and that your coach probably hasn't unpacked his suitcase because he knows he's gone by season end because he doesn't speak French. Having rats on your team is one thing but having rats who won't answer the bell is another
