This is what Burkey was talking about... More and more players don't feel the need to answer the bell anymore. The rat-mentality type of play is beginning to spread throughout the league. Max Lappy is another loudmouth goof who doesn't answer the bell. As much as I like Subban and the Habs, even I think it's time he gets a pounding.
As a Habs fan, I must admit I haven't been impressed by how management has been handling things. Is there a team that lets go of players with less class? And, this language issue has gotten so out of control, it truly is way beyond just the game. You guys living outside the province have no idea how suffocating this issue has become for anglophones who live in Montreal... Some of these hardcore language fanatics are so out to lunch and aggressive, you can't help but feel things will only get worse until the law steps in and recognizes them for the utter racists and hate mongerers that they are. They sell hate and intolerance and superiority and I'm sad to say that more and more people are buying into it here. It's deplorable.
