With Letang back and a healthy Staal, Fleury does his job and we can go deep this year w/o Crosby. Aside from Boston the other teams are very beatable

I want Crosby. Two headed serpent is better than the one headed variety. Remember what I said? I think even Boston would have a helluva difficult time beating both an on #71 and #87. But I also want the kid to get his proper rest so he's "maybe" ready. I don't believe that would be the case for another year-plus. :(

And curse CC's signature! That's my 2nd all-time favorite player getting dazed and confused. Ronny Franchise is a class-act! :rock

That nickname is lame. Who gave him that? Pierre?! :lol
Granted, it's better than having a nickname of "Flower." heh

:lol:lol:lol

I didn't get to see the game tonight, heard Lombardi got two goals and Kessel got one, 3rd SO for Jonas this month. :)

And i don't get this crap...who ____ing cares if Tim Thomas didn't show up at the White House..Obama likes basketball anyway. XD

I believe it was Joe Bowen, but I could be wrong :lol

Thank God it wasn't Pierre though because then I would never call Gustavsson "monster"...Goddamnit I hate Pierre Mcguire :gah: :lol

I'm really starting to hate Mike Milbury as well...that moron is just as much as a twerp and ******* as Pierre is!

We started on the right track.... but now we're just back to our old ways. Alot of it has to do with injury. Seems like someone is going down every other week.

Cool story about the Oilers:

I grew up with Sam Gagner! We were in school together for years and all the way throughout high school...he only lived about a block away from me. They have a massive ice rink in the back with outdoor lights and everything.

Really great guy, too bad he isn't playing his best hockey out West :(

2011/12 is a suckhole season (year) for hockey in general. All these deaths, concussions, etc... not good. Hopefully next year things get better.

Nice! I went to junior high with Matt Frattin from the Leafs :lol

not to go back to the TT/Politics but I find it ridiculous that he couldn't put his political ideals aside to attend a ceremony with his team. That move right there made the whole thing about him and not his team. You show up you shut up and you be there for your team. I now hate him more if that's even possible

He took advantage of a team accomplishment to advance an individual agenda. Any way you look at it, he comes off as opportunistic, which of course isn't against the law. Incidentally, this is the first I've heard of Thomas having these sorts of views -- so, in that regard, his mission was accomplished.

To Habs fans -- Imagine if the Habs won a cup while the PQ was in office. Now imagine if the Anglo Habs players showed their political views by not showing up to a PQ event celebrating the cup. What do you think would happen?

Agreed, but he has his morals and integrity and he stands by them...he will get flak here and there from the press/fans, but in the end, he's still a a fantastic goalie with a big heart for hockey :lecture

Scott Hartnell is the MAN, so glad he's going to the ASG.

Lavvy did great work on him, going from a head basher to a goal sniper in the matter of a year.
