How does Ales Hemsky, who cant stay in the lineup, or score goals (has 5 by the way this year), get a raise from his $4 million dollar salary? It's only for 2 years, but still. That's quite a bit for a soft-injury prone player who fails to be in the lineup half of the time. So would that mean if he was a 82 game player, he would get paid $8 million per?

Oh yea, it'd definitely be nice to see a few surprises on Monday but you're probably right....tons of small trades, few draft picks here and there, rookies moving, etc.

Rick Nash is the only big fish I guess, unless Caps give up on Ovie and trade him.

I highly doubt he has a ticket to the game. Next to impossible to get Leafs tickets in Toronto. I lucked out one year and got Gretzky's Hall of Fame game in 1999 when I went there. My uncle rules! But I know people who lived their entire lives not being able to get tickets.

What? It's so easy to get tickets man! If you just join up with the "Leafs Last Minute Club", they usually call you or send you an email when tickets are available...it's a really awesome service and they aren't at a premium price or anything.
