Funny how they make a big deal posting hockey just recently... I don't remember seeing these guys discuss hockey to this degree... ever! In fact, I seldom saw them take part in hockey chatter... Gotta love band wagon fans. They come out in full force when their teams do well, but stay quiet as bees when their teams do nothing.

I wore my Pens jersey proudly through 2001-06. That wasn't easy. You had no idea how many times I heard that I was rooting for a suckhole organization. How they would fold... Yet, now the Pens are a winning organization and guaranteed a new arena. Now everyone is wearing a Pens jersey.. mainly sporting Crosby 87 jerseys. It's fun to support a winner. Don't get me wrong, but a true fan roots for their team even when they are down and out.

That's why I don't own a Crosby and Malkin jersey. It's Mario Lemieux 66 and Ron Francis 10. I will probably get a Malkin 87 jersey though. I give Kit credit, he has followed his team closely, despite some mediocre seasons. Atleast our teams are in the post season!
