Dude he totally took the dive last night. Even the announcers were giving him ^^^^ about it. LOL! They even went as far as saying there should be a penalty for diving like that. :lol

Just to back it up.

BM,

I have seen it in slow mo. Ovechki isn't a diver and isn't known throughout the league as one. He got his leg rammed and instead of trying to keep up on one skate with a hurting leg he just went down instead. Ovechkin also left the ice for the start of the P which he never does. He was hurting a little. He didn't "dive". Of course the Philthy announcers said he dove. I would not expect them to say any less.

He didn't "dive" He went down due to hurting his leg instead of tryng to stay up on one skate after CLEARLY being tripped. Please watch the sport for more than a week before passing judgement.

I watch whenever the Flyers are in the playoffs which clearly isn't that often. However, that being said. I know a dive when I see a dive. Plus he a Euro player. They are known for taking dives. Hence why the NHL created their anti diving rules. :lecture If it wasn't a dive he clearly added some acting onto the end of that. No way should he have flipped the way he did. :lol

So are you saying he wasn't tripped? I already said he went down instead of trying to stay up on one skate with a leg that had just been hut. You can call it from your slanted Flyers view ( of watching when it's playoff time  ) as I would expect you to if you like, but he was tripped if you want to admit it or not. You can't do what the Flyer player did w/o getting called for a trip.

He wasn't even tripped. :lol The toes of their skates touched. He was just as much at fault. He could have just fell forward. But, no he had to shine it on a bit. I will admit there was some questionable calls throughout the entire night. This one took the cake. Read the Caps forums. Lots of fans are writing that they admit he took a dive. A dive is a dive is a dive and Ovechkin took one. :lol

It's just funny how pissy you guys are getting. It's a ^^^^ing sport that you are watching. You're acting like you are a member of the team and each win and loss is a personal win or loss.

I'm not singling anyone out here, I'm referring to all of you. I understand being a fan, but you guys are making yourselves look like children in this thread.

Now you're pissing me off. Watch the ^^^^ing sport for more than a week like I said. Maybe you'll have a clue what a trip is at that point.

You don't even care about hockey so why are you here? Shouldn't you be seeing what the Eagles will be doing at the NFL draft? Oh wait, your local team is doing well so it's time to jump on the bandwagon and start talking ^^^^ about something you're pretty clueless about?

I take hockey seriously. I always have and always will...period. BM is the same way about the eagles, but I guess that's ok. Single out whoever you want. I don't give a ^^^^. Yeah, I am gonna get pissy about it and it's as simple as that. If you think we are acting like children then don't read the damn thread.

oh i forgot...waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

You don't have to be a pro NHL player to see the simple fact that he took the dive. Sorry if I really pissed you off. :lol I will just say there are allot of forums talking about this SO called play and the majority of the people say he took a dive. Yes even on the CAPS forums too.

You do understand that even IF he took a "dive" that he WAS tripped. A ref can call BOTH on the same play. Ovechkin had that puck, you can't trip him when he does. It's gonna get called EVERY time in todays NHL....period. Again, try watching more than a couple of playoff games before you think you know it all.

Seriously bro, I'll help pay for some of your anger management classes. You take everything way too ^^^^ing seriously.

And like I said, I wasn't singling anyone out but you're gonna make it personal because you have to interpret everything that way. You're right, no one attacks anyone but you

I am not claiming to know it all. I am claiming that that little flip at the end and the fake pain afterwards was acting. I am far from a know it all at hockey. Nor have I claimed to be. I do know how to ice skate and I can tell you that if someone hit my skate as hard as his was I might fall but I am not going to flip all the way over my back shoulder and land the way he did. He is a pro and can skate 100 times better than me. If anything he should have landed on his stomach. Only without the triple axel on the way down. LOL! I will put this topic to bed until I can go home and pull the youtube video. I will then post a poll to see what others think. :lol

So are you admitting that BOTH can happen on the same play yet? If you feel he dove then fine BM, but he was also tripped on the play. Like I said a ref has the right to call BOTH on the same play if he feels the player took a dive on top of the trip. I will even say ok, he dove to make you happy, but he WAS tripped prior to the "triple axel" and that's a call that should have been made.
