Nhl Playoffs 2008 !!!!!

Funny how they make a big deal posting hockey just recently... I don't remember seeing these guys discuss hockey to this degree... ever! In fact, I seldom saw them take part in hockey chatter... Gotta love band wagon fans. They come out in full force when their teams do well, but stay quiet as bees when their teams do nothing.

I wore my Pens jersey proudly through 2001-06. That wasn't easy. You had no idea how many times I heard that I was rooting for a suckhole organization. How they would fold... Yet, now the Pens are a winning organization and guaranteed a new arena. Now everyone is wearing a Pens jersey.. mainly sporting Crosby 87 jerseys. It's fun to support a winner. Don't get me wrong, but a true fan roots for their team even when they are down and out.

That's why I don't own a Crosby and Malkin jersey. It's Mario Lemieux 66 and Ron Francis 10. I will probably get a Malkin 87 jersey though.

This isn't directed at all of you, but you know who you are.

Funny how you quote a persons post and then direct a comment. I don't watch hockey at all in the NHL unless my team makes the playoffs I am more involved in the NFL. I am an AHL fan and route for the Hershey Bears and go to many games. Quit being a douche Eli. Oh and yes I directed that whole statement at you.

I am so lucky that I was just meters away from Carey Price. I got to see him play before he became an NHLer. He'll be a Vezina winning goalie one day.

They had a No. 77 Bourque. First 77 Bourque. Used to be 7...went for 50,000 US and sold instantly!

Thats for sure. When Brisebois scored it sounded like a home game! Also, the Habs may have Koivu back for Thursday's game.

couple of years ago brisebois played in montreal and he was called breeeeeze-by by montreal fans. he then played for colorado and he sucked and was overpaid for his lack of effort. but montreal re-signs him this year and he comes up big in a pivitol game. go figure.

I just haven't been posting in this thread before as my posts across the board have dwindled significantly due to a new forthcoming addition to the family-- but I'll be happy to find the time to post during the Eastern Conference final when the Habs send my good Maritime boy Crosby home to Canada's Playground to enjoy many of Canada's pemier golf courses. Malkin can come too-- someone needs to carry the bags.
