Nhl Playoffs 2008 !!!!!

First round predictions:

Pens over the Sens in 5 - good chance of a sweep but ill give the sens the benefit of still having heatley and spezza...

Habs over Boston in 5 - I don't know that status of Savard if he's back for the playoffs could go to 6 but habs still advance.

Caps over the Flyers in 6 - Tight contest but to much ovechkin plus my hate for the flyers is to overwhelming to give them anymore credit.

Rags over the devils in 7 - Rangers have been playing pretty good hockey lately and the devils have only been OK lately IMO.

Detroit over Nashville in 4 - Nashville has no hope of stopping this train...

San Jose over Calgary in 6 - Tough series but sharks will take it

Min over Col 7 - Forsberg being the fragile egg that he is will get hurt and be a non factor. Min boring style of play will put the Theodore to sleep and Min will take advantage...

Anaheim over Dallas and 7 - This one could go either way. Very even teams and should be an entertaining series...

I don't know I watched him play a few weeks ago live in MN and he just wasn't himself. I am an Avs fan and I wanted him off the first line he was just not playing good at all.

I actually have thank you. He has played ok in the games that he has played. But, we all know peter is a fragile little eggshell that cracks very often. I don't think he's 100% and it will show when playoff hockey starts...

it's how your playing come playoff time. jose has the 3rd best gaa since january 1 and ended the season 5-0-1. you guys basically gave away your best goalie to washington. can't wait to see that series when huet beats the habs.

did you watch him on the stastny, hejduk line and on the pp sunday against minnesota? looked pretty good to me setting up all three regulation goals. i think ANY team would have love to add him at the trade deadline.

No I said a couple weeks ago and he played bad. Sorry I am a huge fan of his but he didn't look like he had got back to NHL level yet. Having the puck taken easily in corners and behind goal, wiffing on shots being knocked down quite easy all things very non Forsberg like.

a couple of weeks ago he just got back from not playing for many months. i think he is definitely playoff ready at this point. he's been playing alot of minutes and looks good. hard to compare any superstar with how they played in their earlier years but he still draws attention when he has the puck. hence the 13 assists in 9 games.

Roy IS Montreal, its not his fault Tremblay's a dick, that is the ONLY reason he joined the Av's. I like the Av's, nothing against them, in fact I think they've been wonderful over the past 12 years. However, lets not forget that they fell ass backwards into Roy, good timing, nothing more. Not a single cup would they have won without him.

Why is it that Roy is coaching in the Quebec league? Its because he's a Quebec native hence always will be a Canadien. Roy joining the Av's was purely a "rebound" or revenge against one rotten apple that happened to coach the Habs in the early 90's.

He proved his point, retired, now living back in Quebec where he belongs.
