He causes so many fricking turn overs. Good thing they don't all result in goals for the opposition, but the 4th goal by Lupul in Game 4 sure did.

DARN IT MALKIN! I love you man! You're an amazing talent, but sometime I wonder which team you're playing for.

I am somewhat happy my Pens lost, and here's why. I think, and as a fan, I'll get booed for this, but it's the Wings Cup to win this year. Look, as a fan, of course I want my Pens to win it, but depth in every position, experience, speed, skill, and everything else I have to give to the Wings. Even then, some of that is debatable. I am also a realist as much as I am a fan. Can't I be both? Either way, if that is how it will work out, atleast the Pens can win the ECF title in their own building so their fans can see firsthand how great this young team has done. So I am happy it's going to Game 5. I rather they advance to the Final in their own building vs. on the road. I want to experience that fan reaction.

As it is, the Flyers nearly lost lastnight. The line of Talbot-Staal-Kennedy scored two goals in the third and almost added a third to tie the game up and send it into OT. However, Lupul would end that quickly, no thanks to, "see above."

have you been watching detroit? if it weren't for them getting ripped off wednesday, having a clearly legal goal called back, they would have swept dallas. they really look heads over any team i've watched in the playoffs. although i hate them, they are the obvious champion this year.

I used to think I knew sports and was pretty good at guessing who would win games. Then a strange thing happened. The F'N Giants won the Superbowl. I am now convinved that you can throw stats and everything you think you know out the window. If that crap ass team can win the big game than anything can happen.

Obviously I agree.. check my aforementioned post. Having said that, I have seen pretty much every Penguins game and they have dominated every series as well. I think this will be much closer than you think. They almost came back in Game 4 lastnight, with a pair of goals, and Staal nearly scored a hatter in the third. The Pens pressed so hard it looked as though they could have sent it into OT, but then Malkin had to shovel the puck for Lupul. Either way, a grand is a lot of money.

i'm not talking stats, i'm talking about detroit skating rings around some really good teams. if i thought any team from the east had a chance, i wouldn't bet such a large amount. but seriously, every team i've seen from the east looks like a minor league club compared to detroit. i was being generous, giving the eastern team two wins in the finals. detroit will probably win in 5 or a sweep.

Anyway, back to the NHL. I don't care how good a bet looks...I still don't like to gamble. I rather make wise investments and see my money grow that way vs. throwing it away, which gambling pretty much is.

You'll make a tidy profit most likely, but I'll just sit back and observe.
