Anyone know any bootleg online games for the Wii? I know the strong bad ones (go to https://www.videlectrix.com/vii/ on your Wii browser and check it) but I was wondering if anyone knew any others!?

Also, Shigeru Miyamoto is giving the keynote address at the game developer conference on March 5th, (and this is all speculation on my part) I'd expect him to talk about independently developed downloadable content through a virtual console-like interface then.

I bought the game Wario Ware this weekend and OH MY GOSH... what a riot!!

I played with my brother-in-law and a friend for about 3 1/2 hours and we laughed the whole time. I had no idea what to expect when I put the game in and I made a complete fool out of my self trying to figure out how the game worked...

and I LOVED the narrator



After reading several reviews I will probably pick up the new Sonic game soon.

I've played just the first level, need to spend a little more time with it.

Graphics are really beautiful.

However, the play felt very "automatic". I felt almost like I was watching someone else control the game, rather than playing it by myself. I would never know that Sonic needed to do most of the things he did (or have a clue how to make him to them). He just knew where to run, and I watched.

Nintendo finally posted a new date for Mario Party 8. After weeks of confusion it will come out on May 29th. I can't wait!

I thought I would bump this thread back up. I have been woundering what games you guys have been enjoying for this. I really want to get another game or two but I do not want to buy a crappy game.

So far I have

Wii Play: Kept me entertained for only a weekend or so...
Wario Ware: Very fun... I still have a few things to unlock.
Zelda: Can't go wrong with any Zelda title.
Paper Mario: VERY FUN!!! I was surprised with how much enjoyment I am getting from this game. It brings back a lot of great memories. (there is WAY to much talking in it though.)


Other than that I have not played any titles. Any recommendations?

Not a recommandation but I am very hopeful that Spider Man 3 will rock the house. I think webslinging with the Wiimote would be pretty fun.

I wanna check it out, I haven't really played anything for a while on Wii, I beat it all. I hear Nintendos waiting to drop more games until the 3 and 4 quarter, so hopefully we'll get some tight games later this year. In the mean time there's this, I wanna check out Mario Party when it hits, I'm a Mario sucker, and just kinda waiting for Smash Brothers, Mario Galaxy and that's about it.

I think Sonic and the Secret Rings is phenomenal and way underrated. Your mileage may vary though. I'm also a big fan of Elebits.

Also, Trauma Center: Second Opinion is great as well.

Ive been playing alot of Virtual Console games lately as well as playing alot of Super Paper Mario.

Paper mario is bada$$ !! Highly recommend it to anyone who has a Wii

Also im probably going to buy some more VC games this weekend starting with Punch-Out!(NES), Gradius 3(SNES), and Star Fox 64

Hope it turns out well! Haven't picked up anything lately for Wii, but I wanna get Resident Evil 4, I never did get it for GC or PS2. I just don't have much time to play lately, but a lightsaber based game WOULD have my attention.
