I meant more in general...
Just becuase something comes from nature, that in itself does not make it better for you.

There are plenty of perfectly healthy things that are artificial, and even the unhealthy processed foods wont hurt you at all if eaten in moderation.

You find me a Doctor who believes that canned vegetables are just as good for you as fresh vegetables, and then well talk.

I love happy meals. Don't care that I'm 28, I still get them from time to time. I love a toy surprise. Or, toys that aren't surprises. I hate people.

I love toys in my food! Give me a Kinder Surprise over a Crappy Meal any day and I will love you long time!:inlove

Gimma a ____ing break lol:rotfl Nature is always best.

Anyways, yes i agree that moderation is key in anything. Some processed foods won't hurt, not optimal for humans but ok in moderation. Ya know the ____ that doesn't have partially hydrogenated oil,(Artery clogger) MSG,(excitotoxin) autolyzed yeast extract( MSG in disguise) HFCS, etc. etc. Then it would be just OK.

Problem is most American's don't enjoy this stuff in moderation. And no moderation when it comes to diet is not 3 times a week sorry.

I've recently lost 70 some odd pounds and I never gave up McDonald's or any other fast food, fatty food, canned food, or processed food. I just greatly reduced the amount of it I was eating. Add a bit of exercise and damned if people don't recognize me at first glance.

right on man. 2 years ago l lost 35 pounds in 2 months. but the opposite of what you did. l ate nothing but fruits and vegetables and some chicken. for beverages, 1 glass of orange juice a day, 1 glass of milk and lots of water. that was lots of weight just from changing my eating habits and with no exercise. l put it all back on since then though. i am 6 foot 2 220 pounds, so l need to get rid of this crap food again and get in shape again. once you get started it is actually not hard at all. just need some will power.

Congrats on the weight loss! :) Portion control is huge!

But weight loss and health are not necessarily the same thing.

Yup calories in calories out. Is all it takes. But Health and how the mitochondria react are different. You can eats donuts and lose weight if you don't eat tons of em. (again works but is not optimal)

What problem?, what are you talking about?.

I'm guessing if everyone stopped having children we'd no longer have an issue with unhealthy food (and other things) being marketed towards them.

Seems logical :lol

I have a feeling coat hanger sales would skyrocket though :monkey3

All that mitochondrian talk ruined the Star Wars prequels. Now McDonalds too? :(
