It's funny how Sideshow insists on making only 1,977 Vaders, but they don't chop down the ESs on the lesser figures (pretty much anyone else).

I think that its becoming pretty standard to have around 2,000 for figure exclusives... unless of course its a domestic exclusive (like Praji) then the totals are more like 3,000.

sort of the point of collecting... the anticipation and the search.

Smart wife... does she do consultations for other wives?

My Mrs always gives me hassle about my hobby but I dont moan at her for all the bloody hand bags and shoes she buys, I told her the other day for the price she pays for them, she should put them on display.

I do listen to my Mrs when she is moaning though, I mean after all she does have rights... The best one is the right to remain silent!:lol

My wife is 100% supportive. She would never flat out forbid me from buying a piece if I wanted it. However, she might put her foot down when it came time to display it in the living room, lol.

She got a gift card at SDCC and is deciding what to use it on.

so is everybody happy? just got back into town & have been away from a computer. was there a meltdown on servers???? i hope everyone scored what they wanted.

Hard to call it a definite record when you consider that the total ES was reduced by the number of preorders taken from the floor at SDCC. If all 1977 had gone up at once, it would have taken longer to sell out.

:slap................i havent gone back thru the threads but will later. im sure that made a lot of happy campers around the ssc campfire..

probably a dumb question but do we know the number of preorders from sdcc or even a hint???

No solid numbers. But a large amount were held back for the PPO. Of course, if the people that preordered at SDCC were added back into the mix on Friday, it would have been more stress on the server with a larger crowd fighting to get an order in. Removing some of the fans from the crowd likely made it easier for the others to order yesterday.

I was kinda thinking something similar, ALL the people at the con with the chance to po Vader, don't really understand what Dusty saidabout holding most of them out for the online people.
