Off the top of my head:

ANH: over armor cape, red eye lenses, ringed gauntlets, chest box lights and details, armor should be a bit dustier, helmet and faceplate has two tone paint scheme, one black tusk on the facemask, black cape chain (not always seen).

ESB/ROTJ: under armor cape, black lenses, vertical lined gauntlets, more detailed chestbox, armor has a shine to it and the silver and black scheme, no two tone paint scheme, all black, silver tusks, silver cape chain.

One of our Vader experts has a site they will most likely post again.

Don't forget ANH also has the widows peak... thats a pretty distinctive feature of that helmet. Also I think the lights on the chest and sides are different colors, although I might be making that up.

Window Peaks?

Oh thanks. So Vader from Soul Calibur IV is probably a mix of the different armors put together?

The head also looks strange for some reason, he does'nt look imposing to me

Lord V has positioned the dome a wee bit high, thats all,

Its a good custom. But I think The Helmet is sitting slightly too high on the body, and the chestbox is far too small for ANH.

As i half made this figure, the helmet sits ontop of the shoulder armor from kaiyodo model kit,giving that illusion....as for the chest box , the upper armor is sitting quite high giving a larger space from chest box to armor, its not too small, believe me, sideshows is about 15% too big...

pretty spot except ALL version of Vader bar ROTS had the two tone mask paint,

I dunno. It's a video game and not even a SW video game so I'm not sure how accurate it would be to use as a reference point.

A lot of times you'll get an amalgamation of suits... but Sideshow is trying to be fairly accurate in their representation. Its not perfect, but more than close enough for me.

The sideshow Vader looks fairly spot on, in terms of the chestbox. In a New Hope, The Chestbox reaches from just below the Chest Armor, to just above the belt. It was a little bigger in a New Hope.

In ESB and RotJ, the Chest Box rests just under the chest armor, but there is more of a gap between the Box, and the belt.

Of course, once we have the figures, everything will be tweaked juuuust right.

I'm not dissing your customs. They are VERY nice, and I've seriously considered one. Just couldn't quite afford it.

Too funny! But I have to say that I AM very surprised to see any crtiticizm of a Hurricane Vader.
