Am I remembering wrong or was Vader Q2 instead of Q3? Was he delayed recently? I'm getting so impatient waiting for Vader:D

I don't mind the wait. As much as I really want him I could do with a little break in Preorders.

I think they are going to make vader figures in order of the movies. If they do that will put their skills to the test.

Billy

It would make sense since 2010 will be the 30th anniv for TESB. Another Vader for 3rd or 4th quarter 2010 anyone....:monkey1

I know there were differences between them, but were there enough to justify picking up four different versions (for the regular collectors), let alone the TESB? Likely ANH, a reveal ROTJ and a good ROTS would be the only worthwhile IMO.

I think ROTJ is the only highly likely variant, whether they'd go so far as to make every suit, hard to say. ANH as the first and Jedi for the reveal are the most classic, with ESB after that for the super glossed helmet and ROTS last.

ESB Vader was always my favorite. When Vader and Luke are communicating through telepathy (the Force), do you sort of feel sad for Vader when he is standing at the bridge window and the Millennium Falcon escapes with its hyperdrive?

Yeah I know.:D I think SS will go w/ROTJ Vader for the removeable mask/helment and maybe the severed hand.

Absolutely!
I remember clearly as a little kid feeling the emotion and sadness emanating from Vader's helmet as he looked out the bridge window.

i feel sad for Vader when luke just throws himself down the shoot, and you see Vader drop his arm like "what just happen"

I find I feel more in that moment after the Prequels than I did before. The prequels establishing Anakin/Vader as a tormented soul really adds to that scene. Even though he's supposed getting Luke for the Emperor, it's more like he's trying to recover his family that he thought he'd lost forever and within there's a hope that Luke can "save" him and losing Luke when the Falcon goes into hyperspace is like a punch to the gut because his chance has been ripped away and he's still trapped in his iron lung.

Or a big disappointment that his son just blew his chance at overthrowing Palpatine and ruling the galaxy. I still think that in TESB, Vader's using Luke more as a tool, than having any real compassion or sense of loss for him.

I think the dark side in Vader wants to rule the galaxy, like when he's mad with power in ROTS talking to Padme, but the way he is on the bridge there and when Palpatine wants to have Luke elimated, that's the light side in him coming through, wanting to eliminate the Emperor and be free and with his family.

Thats funny, I just watched the movie last night and when looks does a peter pan Vader looks sad and disappointed. When the Falcon jumps to hyperspace, he is like man, how am I going to get him again. Very cool emotional scene..
