I'd love to see it happen, but at this point I'll consider myself fortunate if a Vader reveal is Shaw. Who knows what'll happen to ROTJ before the Blu-Ray comes out, though by that time, Blu-Ray may be old tech and some new HD will be out as slow as LFL is going about releasing them

No, in my head this wouldve been better for the Star Wars universe and the EU.
Boba was to well liked and too cool to be killed out right.
I like to believe a better resolution wouldve been Luke "force pushing"
Fett over the railing and into the Sarlac pit. Luke and party take off.
Cut to Falcon and X-wing leaving Tatooine. Wipe back to Jawas picking
through the barge wreckage at the pit. Up comes Fetts grappling rocket
which hits/attaches to nearby wreckage. At the Pit edge you see Bobas
gloved hands and gauntlets coming up. The Jawas look at each other and
back away cautiously. Wipe to next scene.

Except for the same reason that LFL would never approve a Shaw headed figure, they wouldn't even approve a spare head of him.

Given that it wasn't altered in the movie, YET, the reveal head should at least be approved to be a portrait of Shaw, I might actually protest and not buy an SSC ROTJ Vader if the reveal face had to be based on Hayden, it's not the face that burned into my memory after 100s of viewings of ROTJ, when I take that mask off, I want to see the same face I saw all those times, Hasbro did it, SSC better be allowed to.

Boba didnt get his following until after ROTJ. Lucas even said it himself that he didnt see Boba becoming as much of a cult icon as he did.

This would end my completist run. Although Pix would be all over a Haden ROTJ reveal Vader, aka his mancrush, like a fat kid on cake.
