Medi-Vader is about as tall as SST's stormies, maybe even a bit shorter.

Actually that's wrong medi stormies are 300mm and medi vader is 320mm

That pic indeed though is a wrong comparison between the Medicom and SSC in height since the Medicom is a hair taller then the SS Stormie.

You may call it nitpicking but, i think the helmet is too narrow on the SS but, hey its better looking then their PF.

I don't know, sometimes when i see the SS Vader it looks like Vader out of the old Marvel comics, from some angles.

take into account the shadow on the film still, and the angle on the Con shot...

personally, i thought the Vader at 2008's SDCC was totally on track.

Look again at the pic. The screen shot isn't posed the same. Whereas Sideshow's is a dead-on shot of the mask, in the screen shot, Vader's looking up a bit, preventing you from seeing the mask straight-on.
