Thank Ya! Got the Nokia, EtD B, WoTD figures (kitbashes) all within the space of a 2 weeks :yess

For those wanting to know, The GoD is a full set original and but I have repainted the Nokia GoD head and replaced the stock BL2 with a BL2.5 body (with 3.5 ankles)

The WoTD has custom clothing, is based on a BL3.5 body, the stick is from my DX04 set, the head is the calm one from my EB FoF set, and an original WoTD hairpiece modified with the underside of an FoF hairpiece to fit the FoF calm face

The EtD figure has my DX04 clothing, on a BL2.5 body (with 3.5 ankles) and an original EtD verB head and hairpiece which has been repainted to get rid of the rosy cheeks syndrome I hate so much...

I got all the kitbashing parts 6 hours back! and Im finally done!
Now wondering if I should try to kitbash a Big Boss figure too!

very nice axe..the FOF calm face with messy hair makes a fine big boss..i got the custom outfit from ebay,i just cut off the not needed ankle straps..it looks good enough till an official release anyway,or the WOTD pants and a white tshirt would do too

When you look closely at that pic, something seems to have gone awry with his belt as you can see a snap sticking up on his ab.

Or are those his nunchucks!?

How did you swap out the ankles on the BL body? Not easily probably!

The belts have NO snap-ons, my FoF set is completely original and full set, what you see is movie accuracy mate. Those are the nunchucks that Chen Zhen placed in his belt before making those japs chew paper...

YEH..i remember someone modding a BL3.5 with HT footpegs for the feet for a casual figure..he also chopped his hands off too to use the HT hands..poor bruce

If you could put the ankles off the current GOD onto a 3.5 even I'd be inclined to have a go. Perhaps we should suggest that to MTB!

I think the 2.5 is "hunched back" & the 3.5 is normal, or so I think, I have fakes so I'm not 100% on this

Oh yeah, the fakes have "side to side" ankle articulation on both 2.5 & 3.5

Not really man, you cant 'pull them out' the mechanism is a bit different. You need to cut and dremel a 2.5 ankle AND pull out the 3.5 feet and fit it in see this pic as what I mean:

Didnt get the BL3.5 as I needed the specific pose body that I wanted for GoD and EtD ver B, The slightly hunched gait of the 2.5 allows for the more accurate 'attack' pose... the BL3.5/BL3 has the 'straight' gait, which I used for the WoTD, as the pose I wanted to put him with the stick, works... but wouldnt with the EtD B's sparring pose or GoD's nunchuck battle pose...

When you buy the fake ones do check the ankles, the so called 'fakes' are actually made from the same factory that EB lost during their making of FoF and Kato... the factory kept the original molds and reissue these BL bodies in the form of BL2.5's BUT assemble the lower portion of the BL3.5's so its basically a factory made bash of sorts...

the HT BL body has an articulated neck which can move forward and backward, so it can mimic the hunch of the BL 2/2.5 as well as the straight ahead look of BL3/3.5

They didnt make Bulma NOT because of the factory, but because their Dragonball Evolution figures were an epic fail in terms of sales.
The sculpt and paint and blah blah on the figures were great, but the license was the problem in itself. You can still buy some of the figures on EB's site let alone various other online retailers as MRP.

Honestly if you see it that way, its ONLY the Bruce Lee line along with Jet Li, Mr. Bean and maybe Jack Bauer of 24 which really sold out and fast...
