Also for the people that PO with ebay sellers, I hope you are not expecting the long telescope because you will not get it.

I'm not surprised, or all that bothered. I just would have thought that ordering from a US distributor would be enough to secure the long telescope.

Yea the telescope stuff is mental but I guess its better then everyone _____ing about inaccuracies.

I think this thread proves there arent a bunch of zombies who ____ on every release, Indy and the likes truely aren't upto market standards and figures like this one. Hopefully we haven't gotten any updates on him because hes being completely overhauled, I'd ideally love to have both these figures on the shelf looking equally well done.

Q3 would be July - Sept of course so yah by Sept/Oct it should be out for sure.

Well seeing how every US distributor has to order from SSC for their Hot Toys, you will most likely not have a problem securing it.

I just ordered my third one from CSC....paid in full....$230 shipped to Dacula, GA. So now I have one from SS that I have on flexpay, and another from AE that I haven't paid for yet, just reserved. So 3 total Captain Jack Sparrow DX figures coming to me by hopefully August or September and no later than October. Fingers crossed!!!

Very Nice!! I just have one on PO from AE at the moment. Might do a second one from SSC on flex but just want to see what else HT has lined up for Q3 and Q4 before I place the orders.

You have to have three if you want three telescopes dummy.

I was initially iffy about the likeness... I liked it, but wasn't as "omg it's a clone of Depp" as some others. I think the likeness is PERFECT from his left side, but something goes just slightly amiss from the right side / directly in front.

That said, I don't think my anticipation for a figure has ever gone from 0 to 60 this fast before. I went from "That's pretty cool" to getting crackhead itches waiting for it in the span of about a week.

Wasn't the deal with the smiling head that it's not being changed, it just had to be retracted because it wasn't officially approved yet?

I wouldn't mind it being tweaked, though.

It was already confirmed that is the J smoking Sparrow.

That's possibly why they are doing this... To lower the quantity the Asian market sellers are sending to the US, which bypass the US license holder. Just a guess though.

I wouldn't mind it being tweaked, though.

That was a guess I made based on past figures. In the past it seems that if they are going to change a sculpt they just show a different head later, but when licensing has been in question they have fuzzed out the face. The Downey heads were fuzzed and it was a likeness issue. So I made a guess.
