You know guys I don't own an Alien yet, and I always liked the Brown color more then the dark blue/black color Aliens which is why I don't want to cancel him.
How commonplace are the first release Aliens anyways? Are they still available for the original Sideshow price?

I got both notices and I'm pissed at Sideshow.
It said in the last newsletter:
AVP: Hot Toys Ancient Elder Predator model kit - #63171 Now Mar 2007
15-20 days from right now is NOT March, it's February. And I was expecting the Japanese Pred in March too.
It might be only a week and a half shy of March at the least, but right now it's really tough.
Had I known that both these figures would be shipping next month I would've canceled the Terminators and Probe Droid pack which are now on their way.
And now I have to decide between one of these Predators and the brown Alien.
I'm really getting sick of Sideshow screwing up on estimates.

I'm annoyed at them, too. I wouldn't have cancelled Maul's balls except I got the notice back in Dec. when things were tight. (And of course the whole never-got-a-notice-about-Bib-and-had-to-return-him-and-pay-shipping-both-ways thing.)

Now, of course, both Preds maybe in March... maybe in Feb...? March, I'm cool with. Feb is like Vader's scream...

I'm keeping the brown Alien too... I like the paintjob.

That dio is okay, but not something I would want. I don't like the look of the sculpted body netting. Oh well, that's just me.

The only thing that intrigues me is the actual throne itself. The figure isn't all that great, but the detail on the throne looks nice.

Outside of the Weta Witchking of Angmar and Uruk-hai Scout Swordsman Statues, the Pred. Maquette is my favorite Sideshow piece.
