Yep, Maccus, the hammerhead guy. He'd work well with this rubber stuff, especially the crab legs on his back (bendy of course).

I'd love a Greenbeard too, but he's probably too obscure -- he's the seaweed man guy who cuts the throat of the man in Davy's intro, and he's the navigator at the wheel when Bootstrap says "Captain says I'm to relieve you".

BTW, Davy's height looks great to SS Praji...

Yep, which is good. I was worried Davy might just be on the short side. Jack's height can be fixed, thanks to Chase's example.

Here's a few more quick pix in familiar surroundings. This and Jack will most likely be the last "kitchen shots" I post until I move into the new digs. Naughty kitchen will be no more.

Well, they're playing smart and cashing in on the momentum of the current summer blockbuster lineup, I think some other lines will be quiet in the interim and either at SDCC or come fall/winter the other lines will get attention again.

I really hope this line doesn't end before getting Barbosa... to me that would at least hit the major players. Although there are definitely a lot more great figures we could see if they keep it going.

I'm not worried about the line at this point, it's been successful pretty much accross the board, not one figure met with poor reception and sales, as far as can be seen from the collecting end.

I think it's very safe to say HT's just about striking while the iron's hot right now, get the Iron Man line going, get TDK out while the film's fresh, continue the older lines later, fans aren't going anywhere. TDK can Iron Man could help HT find new customers, Predator, POTC, Aliens, those already have their fanbases, they're not going to grow much, and the fans have shown loyal following of the lines, so they know they can put them off for a bit, come back and we'll still buy.

I think Hot Toys will not let this line die so fast. There are so many figures they could make. Look back in this thread and look how many suggestions we've all posted. There's no way Hot Toy's will let this line end before we get them.

As long as they make Barbossa, the line could end. He is honestly the last figure I feel they NEED to make. Anyone else would just be a happy extra!

Well I took my courage in both hands and acetoned off the patterning on the Cannibal Jack head and are currently retouching it up. I have to say that so far it looks very nice indeed. Just goes to show what a good likeness they have going on there.

I'll try and post some photos when I finally find the charger for my damn camera!

Ya, he's the only character left whose absense I would consider making the line a tragic one if it ended without him. I'd love to see more Elizabeths and Wills and a Jack based off the first film, but once Barbossa is done they'll have covered every core character, after that it's alternates and secondary characters.

I just got the second Jack and Davy Jones, and both are impressive. I adore the smiling Jack sculpt. Mine looks so much better than my first version Jack. And the skin is thankfully not so dark.

If Hot Toys doesn't make Norrington, I'm going to have to try to commission him, because my collection will not be complete without him and I won't be satisfied until I have him.

That could be really expensive unless you go with Bum Pirate Norrington, I can't think of any existing figures with close enough uniform, the whole figure would proably need to be done from scratch.
