Looks pretty good. I'm going to try the slim body TT for Jack, Cannibal Jack, and Will, since those bodies are shorter than the standard TT. I'll snap some pics when I get the bodies.

Thanks. I'm finally happy with my HT Sparrow. I used a Pro body for my Joker v.1 as well, and it turned out quite nicely. Strangely enough, I'm kinda growing keen on those things...

The slim TT improves Jack's build, but it doesn't shorten him more than 1/8 an inch, at least a simply body swap.

The clothed one is on a slim and I slapped the cannibal head on the original Jack body for comparison.

Yes, of the 2 coats, I prefer the color and fabric of the Medicom and since it fits I used it.

Hopefully a Sparrow for Pirates 4 will get the coat color correct, assuming if it's based on 4, his costume is essentially the same as 1-3.

You know for marketing purposes alone Sparrow will get a bit of a new look. Hopefully nothing drastic. I'm surprised they didn't do something like that for Indy IV.

Sparrow's not the kind of character the sells for his look, it's not like Batman or something, he sells for being Jack, his look is like Indiana Jones, subtle changes may happen, but there's a defining look for him.

The only changes they made really from 1 to 2 were because they didn't know they'd be back for more Pirates and didn't hold onto stuff, it seemed like they had to make his costume all over again for Dead Man's chets, but basically they kept it the same but for added belts and trinkets, which hopefully is all they'll do, if that for 4, just add some more stolen goodies to his look.

I set up my Cannibal Jack with the grinning headsculpt and some loose pieces from the first Jack figure and I really like it. (Pics forthcoming...) ;)

Now after seeing those pics of Will & Elizabeth by lord-22, I'm tempted to pick up Will. Elizabeth would be cool but I would want her in a different outfit, particularly from the first or even second films, so she's not a must-have.

Barbossa is a must. Hopefully we'll eventually get him. I then wouldn't feel the need to pick up another figure to provide Jack display company.

I passed on Sao Feng only because I didn't care at all about the character, but of the other figures, Elizabeth's really the only so-so one, Will and both Jack's are great, I think Davy is amazing (I know some are hung up on his height but I just love how he looks), but Elizabeth, for being so short compared to the guys, and the failed attempt by HT to represent her hair as wet down from the maelstrom, she's not a very wow figure, with proper size to the guys and a better hairdo, she'd have been awesome, costume is great, her portrait is wonderful.

I want the Elizabeth figure but i think i will wait for HT to rerelease another version of her from pirates 4

No, Knightley wants out of POTC, and apparently Bloom's already declined involvement too.

The only hopes of a new Swann, and it's a big long shot, is if HT decided to revisit the original trilogy and put out some figures over the course of next year as they film POTC 4, otherwise the only characters from the first 3 films I expect to see figures from will be ones that reappear in POTC 4, which my guess, of anyone worth making a figure of, would be Barbossa.

Will is definitely on my "would like to get list" but he's not a must-have. I'd rather have a simple display of Jack and hopefully Barbossa someday. I would be fine with that. If no Barbossa, then Will would be the one to get.
