A mast and crow's nest would be the coolest Jack dio bast ever, the next best that I can think of would be the part of the Pearl he's leaning on after he flees Beckett's ship in AWE, "and that was without a single drop of rum."

They've already done the figure so it's too late, but his cannibal throne for the cannibal figure would be awesome to have.

A mast would be the awesomest dio ever! Especially if it would be a bit crooked or something. Like leaning to a side so you really have to give the figure a slightly dynamic pose or something.

Whatever they're gonna do, I'm sure it will be pretty epic though! Can't wait to see pics of this figure! Hope it won't take too long!

Well, odds are DX Jack will be specific to Stranger Tides, so while his base might be something unique and cool, unlikely to be any environment we've come to love from the first 3.

He could come with the fountain, assuming they actually find it in the movie. I'll be curious how that plays out, if they find it and what it's like, and if there's a price to be paid for it.

Possibly not, clothin could make it hard for him to wear the hat, where the Taylor hair piece and be sculpted easily enough to go over it.

We'll see, but i don't want a cloth bandana if he looks stupid with the hat on.

Very true. Unless they do it some how where the hatted version doesnt have a full scarf? I personally dont want a cloth bandanna either.

I don't care too much how parts are done, I have some thoughts, what might be nice, etc., but I'm just hoping for a figure that can fully and properly represent Jack as he looks in the movies and his persona. While I collect multiple Jack figures, I want one ultimate Jack at the center of it all, and so far the pieces don't exist to make it in my eyes, putting a lot of hope in what we get with this DX figure.

Thats me as well. I have the HT AWE version, numerous NECA ones and the SS PF and while Im very happy with the PF, I still need a definitive 1:6 Scale Jack. The face is "off" on the HT version. Just something about it...And I missed out on the DMC HT. So Im hoping this DX will nail Captain Sparrow! That and Im hoping for a diorama base for him this time as well.

I wish they would have given their Edward Scissorhands a closer resemblance to Depp as well.

Well I don't think they had rights to do Depp's likeness on Scissorhands.

As for Jack, I'd be happy with the PF if it had his full costume, but for me, the ultimate Jack collectible representation will feature his coat and hat as well. I prefer pose choices so a figure is more ideal than a PF, but I'd settle for a PF that looks great and has all the goodies I want.

The AWE Jack is ok, I've said what I've felt was wrong with that, and the Cannibal is bascially the same figure as far as the base Jack stuff so there was no upgrades from the AWE there.

This is our first chance for an upgrade, and I hope HT comes through, they ought to.

I'm excited to see how they handle the painting with the dirtying and stuff of his face because they've come a long way from just making him look super tan like the first figure.

Yeah, Thats the only thing I wish the PF had, was the coat. But since I have the HT with the Coat Im ok. I took one of the NECA 18" scale Jack's hats and gave it to the PF which Im content with.

Wonder why HT couldnt get Depps likeness for Scissorhands? Thats odd.

And yes, This DX should be way upgraded. Im hoping for as much an upgrade as with the TDK Joker ver 1 vs the DX. There was plenty of stuff to warrant another purchase with that one and Im hoping Jack gets the same love.

Understandable, but at $150-$200 price range, likeness is a bigger deal imo.

Well I agree, I buy these figures wanting them to look like the character off the screen, which means having the actor likeness. When the film license doesn't come with likeness rights, it's a 50/50 shot if HT'll make the extra effort, with Dutch, they pursued Arnie's likeness with his people, with Billy and Edward, they chanced putting out a figure without a likeness.

Anybody else really want to see Gibbs and Teague. Since Gibbs is the only character in all four movies besides Jack and Barbossa, he'd be a nice addition. Teague is just cool looking.
