same here. i really only wanted a jack sparrow but i never thought they would make a davy jones and so soon even. this is great. i hope they make more "creatures" from davy's crew. im eagerly awaiting my V2 sparrow. i know everyone wants that smirking head but i really want that cannibal head. that is freakin' sweet.

Both are stated to ship in February. When in February is anyone's guess but I've heard from various sources that these and the AvP:R stuff will be hitting at similar times...

I've heard AVPR's been pushed out a bit, so who knows. I'll take a Coming in 30 or 20-25 day notice from Sideshow, that'd be good enough for me.

AvP:R was supposed to be released yesterday according to most sources and its been pushed back into February. I'm assuming that POTC is still on track and sites like Toys2 has them in Feb as well....I got mine through them so I'll have them a bit before the SSC folks so we'll see very soon either way...

I don't know how much faster Toys2 will be over SSC this time around, they're both in the same quarter, closer than some, but surprisingly Toys2 ended up behind SSC for Rambo 3. No matter, they'll be here soon enough. I went with SSC to save the cash on shipping, Toys2 is about equal item price but they're shipping is steep.

That Chow Yun Fat's character had a figure long before Barbossa is definitely one for the WTF File.

Well, nobody take this the wrong way, but I believe Chow Yun Fat is like a mega superstar overseas so it's like doing a local favorite. Hell, he premiered before the Jack Sparrow figure; Jack was announced shortly after, but originally Sao Feng was the first and only POTC figure shown by HT, I remember saying I hope they make Jack, I wasn't sure that it would turn into a line or just be a Chow figure only.

Ok, just didn't want to come off like an a-hole. It's scary, I'd probably be sick to my stomach if I ever saw the conditions under which much of what I buy is made.
