If that's the case, then Will is definitely going to be the same as Jack. I want to see Davy side by side with a Jack figure to know if he's bigger or not.

I think the bottom leg/ankle "extender" is standard on all HT truetype bodies.

I was thinking Jacks height was more due to the boots and how high they plug into the boots.

I thought someone posted a picture showing Jack was too much taller than Sao to be accounted for by his boots. Ah well, looks like I'm either going to have some modifying to do or buy a Hot Toys Jack.

Jack isnt that much taller than Soa. Also Soa is barefoot.

Does anyone have any idea if those leg extenders might fit on a Medicom body? And might that even a Medi Jack and HT Will heightwise?

These 11" Medi bodies and 13" DC bodies are killing my display.

Honestly, maybe you could live with it, but even if HT Will or Medi Jack were altered in height, there'd still be noticeable body mass differences and Jack would either look puny or Will would look like Schwarzenegger, either way, if you can afford it, quality and all of the HT Jack is worth it and he'd blend best with most of the HT POTC offering. Elizabeth's really the fish out of water of the POTC line, if she were bigger in scale, she'd be equal to Sao and Jack and they'd all be fine. Even for Barbossa, being about same height as Jack and the rest is liveable, but Swann ends up quite petite because of the standard female figure and male figure sizes being so different from one another.

Sao and Jack are actually the exact same height, but Jack's hat makes him look a bit taller (Jack is also a bit closer to the camera in my picture as well.)

It would be nice if HT did different body types for heights. Look at the Chainsaw Ganado in the Biohazard 4 line. He should be atleast an inch taller.

It would be pretty easy, too, since the body already attaches like it could be modular. Make different lengths for shins and forearms, maybe even the stomach area.

Yup, as much as it has it's problems, Sideshow's Buck and the ranges of height that have in it make a difference. While lack of height variation could be tolerated, it's paid off in their Star Wars line to have it, even in the female body. HT would do well to work on bodies of varying size.

Yeah you're right. I'll just have to succumb to it. I wish the V2 had Jack's hat and coat with him.

I hope they come fast and are in good condition like my Ms. Swann I got from SSC.

It took a while to get some of the HT figures parted out that were just released....wonder if these will follow the same suit. I really want a V2 Smiling Jack to replace the sculpt on my V1.

Forgive the resolution of the image, but it's key to seeing what I'm talking about. I think the above picture clarifies why we haven't seen Barbossa yet. Looking closely at the image, I'd say he has one of the most intricate costumes to make, maybe more than Sao. Look at the patterning on his inner shirt and even skarf around his waist looks very detailed on one side. They may not match it 100%, but to come even close might take a fair ammount of sourcing for the materials. Even his coat, if done right, is an interesting texture and may not be easily replicated. The clothing alone will be stunning when/if they produce him.

Not to mention he is just rough looking... That would have to be a hard headsculpt to get right, but I'm sure HT will be up to it
