I'd probably do that too, but the fact that both heads with Cannibal Jack better embody the character outweighs that the regular has his jacket and hat, to me. Slap the regular head of the Cannibal figure on the first release Jack and you've got the best figure. Unfortunately, good for HT bad for collectors, they split up the good parts between 2 figures instead of including them in 1.

id say the smiling head looks better than those first pics we saw. still loving the cannibal head though.

I really wish you'd gotten a good Jack, my Jack's skin looks much like the one above, though you do have to figure it a bit darker without the flash.
As for Will, his 20-25 went out 4/4, so the earliest would be somewhere around 4/24. Now with the recent hold up of AVPR Predators and PredAliens from Hot Toys, there's not telling how on time Will is going to be. The AVPR figures shipped almost 2 weeks past the final date of the 3-5 notice. We should be getting 3-5's for Will any day now as 4/24 is the last date of the 15-20 day range for processing emails.

Yeah, I wish I had gotten one with a better skin tone. I really like the rest of the figure but for all the good I hear about HT this one didn't match up.
Really? I don't collect that stuff so I dont follow it closely enough to know there was a delay. Hopefully Will stays on time but if he doesn't he may get cut with all that is supposed to be coming over May.

Yeah, it happened around Christmas time with the Hot Toys Power Loaders too, they shipped well after they were expected too. My guess is somethings or bad timing result in customs issues so even if the ship's on time, doesn't get over to you as you'd expect. With everything I've gotten through Sideshow, 2 instances is nothing, but certainly with more HT stuff coming in shortly after this delay, it does raise the question of will a delay occur again.
I think the smiling HS image posted on the previous page looks very Depp/Sparrow, one thing I do notice with both HT figures is the mustache seems a bit too thin and odesn't help with the likeness. Maybe if I'm feeling brave I'll thicken it up a bit with the brush. Here's a quick PS job.

Nope, you'll just be left wondering, that's what happned recently with the AVPR figures, we had no clue and finally one night they started to ship.

I was traveling the other day and wandered into a Spencer's Gifts for the first time in many years. I wasn't expecting to find anything but sex/fart-themed gifts, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had all of their NECA POTC figures on clearance for $4.97 (down from $14.99). I had never really even been aware of these, but they looked pretty cool, so I got several. They're actually fairly nice. They're not really action figures so much as slightly posable statues, but they're pretty well done and come with cool interlocking bases that form a sort of mini-diorama. All together I got 10 of them on clearance, and I've ordered a few more to fill the holes (Tia Dalma and Davy Jones, for example are apparently rather hard to find). Anyway, if you're interested, you might try checking out a Spencer's.

my nearest spencer's used to have cool figures back when i wasnt into figures. i recently went there to see what they had and guess what. nothing but sex and fart jokes and immature hicks getting a kick out of em.
