About a week from now is the first pre-order collection date for this piece (July 11th). Really looking forward to see what this final product looks like. The packaging artwork from Adi Granov should be fantastic.

This Mark VII is ushering in the all of future die cast Mark armors from PI and the level of quality we can expect (Better or worse) from them as the Die cast era begins for both PI and HT.

Want to see good things from this.......

I really hope it turns out awesome, I just finished paying my deposit for one from Singapore :rotfl

I haven't followed this like I do HT, so is this RAW version of this coming out soon also? I am interested in that, but I'm sure it will be very expensive.

Thanks.

I figured I'd have to go secondary market for the RAW version. I'm curious to know about in QC, look, feel, etc...

I Guess it'll be the same with the regular version though.

I took this picture of the Mark VII "raw" version at their shop the other day and for a prototype, it looks pretty good to me.

Incredible, thanks HotKing.

You are most welcome and I understand u guys are all waiting for Play Imaginative but I hope they produce great Ironman figures as they need a track record if they are going to compete against HT....

Thanks for the pic. This is the only PI I am potentially interested in. Of course its unobtainable or will cost a fortune on the bay.

A couple of questions if you don't mind.

What are the redish parts in the shoulder area?

And in the pic, it looks like the legs are more shiny that the torso. Is that noticable in person?

Thanks again.

No worries Mike. As this raw version was announced after the original red/gold Mark VII, I believe PI repainted the regular version to this silver color. The red color in the pictures are the shoulder joints of the figure.

In person, the shiny parts r not that obvious but look like a rushed prototype to me but the proportions are spot on.
The main thing that I can see with this figure is that it may not pose very well even with so many points of articulation compared to HT version.

I hope PI will prove me wrong n produce a wonderful Mark VII regardless of color.

Sweet. Thanks again for the info. I know I'm setting myself up for disappointment by wanting this, but oh well.

And I think its amazing when the members who live in areas where these cons display items we can see here in the states post pics for us. I greatly appreciate it.

Can you get some info on their 1/4 suits pre-orders for outside of singapore? I think the lack of information from them is what making the wait worse. So far we've only seen prototypes but no pricing/release date or when pre-orders take place. :slap
