From the specs:

- The PI and HT have the largest offering differences with the Battle damage parts and the add on artillery pieces that are included with the HT. The PI does come with a remote control metal HOA base.

- HT includes the Tony Stark sculpt

-The PI head sculpt doesn't have the large eyes and mouth as HT.

-The PI is die cast vs the plastic HT and the proportions on the PI at the elbows and the torso appear larger than HT.

- The HT has more articulation at the thighs and other areas than the PI.

It really comes down to preference on posing. I wanted this for an HOA which I think this one looks better than HT. If you like posing and changing parts then HT offers more for what you are looking for.

I've never let price stop me from getting what I want. But I personally don't see the value in these. Although the HOA adds to the figure, it just doesn't add up to @ $600 for me. And the RAW version is the only version I would want since I have the HT Mark VII. I do like the two tone look though!:dunno:slap

I have it on PO at BBTS. Not sure if ill keep it, will wait for reviews on it first. I would love a comparison to the HT VII! Hopefully some one will do one once they are in hand.

I figure I have a couple of months before they make it to BBTS.

Thanks, I hope so!

400 is a great price on this! How did you manage that? Did you order direct from them?

:exactly: Couldn't agree more Mike. If I enjoy something and want it badly enough, price is not an issue. This goes for both sides of the spectrum whether it's super cheap like a Lego 2 inch figure that my friends will make fun of me for buying or any high end collectible. Life's short, enjoy what you can afford :)

The price tag on these is absurd.

$450 for a diecast Mark VII and a Metal Hall of armor.

$249.99 Mark VII
$129.99 Hall of Armor

$380 vs $450 = $70 dollar variance to weigh a Diecast version vs added battle pieces and a Mexican tony stark headsculpt.

Not too off base.

If you go at current market prices. The PI looks much more attractive. Who knows what the aftermarket will be on this version as well.

The way I see it I was gonna have a MK VII in my collection one way or another. I PO'ed the HT MK VII and heve the Mk VII BD on the way. So I can sell my Mk VII and just 'upgrade' to diecast for $200 bucks and I get the hall of armor.

They're making a gold edition. I want this and their silver edition. Doesn't come with the HOA too I wonder if those of us in the states can get it from a retailer.

It's 1/6 and I said from a retailer, not directly from them.

If they sell to a retailer, wouldn't it be the same as selling their 1/6 products in the states? I thought that's why they didn't make all those other suits in 1/6 scales. They can probably get around that licensing issue if a dealer in the U.S. like BBTS buys them off another local dealer in singapore.
