But but but how old is the kid I thought you had a youngling :panic

:lol, my son will be visiting with grammy while I take grampa out to the movie. I'm not that crazy, I just accidentally scarred the poor kid taking him on a train ride at a tourist location in NH that had an actor playing a crazy wilderness man firing off a rifle :lol If I took him to Rambo, based on the violence I'm hearing about, he'd never sleep again :lol

Kids today. My parents made me watch Robocop when I was 5 years old. Back in my day we used to get action figures from R rated film! *while sitting on a rocking chair*

Yep. Saw Exorcist and Marathon Man when I was a kid.... parents would never today. And those were "just the tip" of the blood and violent 70's. Even Jaws is pretty gory for youngins today. Nothing in my day. We ate blood for dinner.

Ughh this review is telling.

Not a Rambo movie just an action movie that happens to have Stallone

Equivalent to the last 2 Die Hard sequels

Super cheap feeling

Ughh

Except that Die Hard 4 is better then 2 and 3 :) and IMO feels more like Die Hard then part 3... But you all know how I feel on that :)

Die Hard 2 and 5 are crap.

Have not seen the film yet. All depends on how well they nail the Rambo character for me.. If he as a character feels like Rambo then I will be good.

I mean what makes a Rambo movie?

The first film is a very different movie then the other 3 films. I mean there are comparisons obviously but if Rambo 2 was the film to start it all with all the squeals following and then the plot of part 1 was the 4th film... People might say that's not a Rambo movie.

But I have not seen the film yet.

As for bland villains.. Well... First Blood IMO has the only great villains in the series. Part 2 was great at the time of its release but I have a hard time taking any of that film seriously.

Storm scene.

So it was a Rambo and Cliffhanger sequel all rolled into one.

I saw those also when I was a kid.. Granted both were edited for TV.. But the Exorcist was ruff even edited for tv.. Scared the crap out of me.

As for Marathon Man... Is it Safe? That film did not effect me at all as a kid other then I was happy to see Chief Brody :)

Great movie though :)

Great point about Rambo FB being treated differently had it not been the first.

But all self respecting Rambo fans know that FB is the real deal lol

FB is truly an amazing movie.

Exorcist was absolutely brutal for me as a kid lol

My son is growing up around horror and sci-fi he laughed when the monkey was eating the astronauts face in Ad Astra.

Only because her ass and thighs are too big for anything less than 18" to penetrate.

Damn it JYE when I watch that movie and he sings his song I will be grossed out. Garage is white than michaels mask. That could make for a scary new mask. Although some like Finn from Star Wars will have to wear the suit to match her hip size.

Thought DH2 rocked, the Dennis Franz character was over the top though.
Liked DH 3 but hated the ending.
Also really liked DH 4 but loathed DH5.
Not having more Al,Holly and the reporter from the first one was a misstep after DH2. Cameos would’ve been nice.
My 2 cents.
