The Expendables: 4/10

I felt like I needed to go back and watch the las half of this to see I'd it gets any better. It doesn't. The nastalgia effect wares off after the first scene. The rest of the movie is laughable dialogue and mindless action.

Are you still talking about The Avengers?

The Avengers 9.5/10 Absolutely loved it. -5 a point for

killing off Son of Coul, some pretty stupid action sequences that Black Widow and Hawkeye performed, Fury not getting in on the action, pretty much making Loki look like a little B and the army he rode in on, and masculine shield agent that wasn't ugly but was absolutely a retarded cast....

Hey, Stargate is a good movie.

At the time, I would have killed people to have a flat top as good as Kurt Russell's.

Stargate was fantastic. Until they go through the gate.

Stargate before they went through the gate 8 out of 10

Avengers 9/10

It is a completely fun movie to watch, and I'm going to go see it again, but it's not an intelligent movie script. It's pretty much exactly what you expect it to be, just a slam-bang action film with some witty humor, but nothing that's going to drag in acting and directing awards at the Oscars.

I'm kinda glad I never saw them as a young teen or as a kid, wouldn't have absorbed them the way I did now as a 26 yr old

Now to watch Alien 3 and Resurrection... judging by reviews, not expecting much

Though i'm curious how Fincher handled 3.

Glad to hear the Avengers is getting such a positive response... Sadly I won't get to see it for a few weeks But luckily I'm sure it will be around for at least a month

Hall Pass: 6/10
Surprisingly graphic comedy... didn't realize it was a Farrely Bros flick until I saw the end credits; then it all made sense. A bit slow and ham-fisted (like a lot of their stuff) but still pretty funny overall.

Skyline: 4/10
Pretty bad movie; some cool looking effects but the movie is monotonous and then the ending "twist" felt clearly tacked on in hopes of making a sequel that I'm sure will not happen. They should have just told the whole story in one movie than try to stretch it out to the point of boredom like they did.
