Wow wow wow, I never said second best it's not even the 3rd best by a LONG shot, I said second most FUN, as in almost lighthearted fun for a franchise like Alien.

Last movie I watched was 'Gravity' and, I'm assuming going in with no expectations or ideas was best, because it fuggin' rocked. Solid 10/10.

I have a 3D TV, but that **** makes me sick. I already got motion sickness from the opening segment in 2D. But I still might embrace the barf bag and give it a shot in all the visual dimensions my brain is primed to comprehend, because I liked it so much.

I think it's because the people that actually gave the movie a chance and discovered that it's actually good might feel that they can't give it too much praise or else they will be branded a hater of the original.

You know what? It's ok to like both!

Exactly, there was actually pressure to hate it. People feel they have to say something negative about it so they don't get rounded upon.

Having said that, Deckard has a point. I've only seen it once. Who knows how repeat viewings will go.

That was also funny.

I thought some of the action sequences, specifically the one with Thor's mommy and the awfully designed "elf" guy were very well choreographed.

Other than that the movie was pretty meh.
