Well, I'm pretty sure people are secretly buying Beetlejuice, despite their "hate"

As far as Rogue One, I'll wait for various reviews and then maybe go see it. It's not like I want things to be bad....they just are sometimes, but people can't take the criticism.

The main problem the movie has is that we all know the outcome - pretty much all of the main cast (the heroes) will end up dead or imprisoned never to be seen again.

And secondly, Vader's brief screentime is going to have to be well done and worth Disney using him as a selling point for the movie. If his scene isn't as good as we all want it to be it's most likely only going to bring disappointment.

Still looking forward to seeing the movie - I hope it delivers.

As far as Rogue One, I'll wait for various reviews and then maybe go see it. It's not like I want things to be bad....they just are sometimes, but people can't take the criticism.

Perhaps I don't visit the thread as often as I'm trying to limit my exposure, I don't recall reading major debates in the thread on either sides to warrant butt hurt....I'd agree if it's BvS thread the butt hurt on both sides was real....

I think it is a period of civil war. Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire’s ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet.

No, I enjoyed it too. As it stands now, my favorites are:

6. EWOK MOVIES (LOL)
7. STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL (LOL)
8. AOTC
9. TPM

I have not seen any of the cartoon series so I did not include them except I did see the cartoon in the Star Wars Holiday Special when I was in the 2nd grade and loved its.

I have high hopes for Rogue One and hope its up there at the top of the list. We will all know in less then a month!

For me you know it's a bad movie if I can get up and go to the restroom during it and not worry about missing anything. I was so excited about TPM after such a long Star Wars wait but remember getting up and walking, not running, to the restroom and then stopping to get something from the cantina. I didn't care about anyone in the movie.

I think I enjoyed the pod race, Maul and the lightsaber fight. I have never stopped and watched it while flipping channels if it is on.

The ATOC is just as bad. I do not remember the story line except several cringe worthy dialog scenes and thinking one scene was a complete rip off from the Chicken Run when they heroes were trapped on the chicken (not apple) pie machine. Now that was a great movie, lol.
