Yep. The best special effects I've seen in a Star Wars movie too.

Nah Anakin riding a tick and arena animals in AOTC was better......lol

Yeah, I've been working on my mac all morning and listening to the score. It's an absolute mess, some of it sounds like a fake-sound-alike SW library music, some of it just sounds completely unsure of itself as you mentioned. There are a couple of very nice elements in there, but they sound like they come from other soundtracks. It sounded really noticeably wrong at times in the cinema.

The poor guy had to put it together in a few weeks when Desplat quit/was fired so I guess it sounds like that for a reason.
It's probably the weakest part of the movie.

95% success, some of his voice was off but perfect during his most famous line which i'm guessing they just reused that line from ANH.

It was Tarkin, he was a d*** lol

I just loved it... it was so diffferent from everything we saw from Star Wars so far.. and thats one of the main reason why I loved it so much !

Also the ending.. it was not typical !! ALL HEROES DIED !! ... and Vader nor Krennic killed off any of the heroes.. not Villain vs. Hero death fight !! LOVE IT!!!!

One big thing that left me feeling is.... that movie makes the Jedi and Sith so unique, special and important in the galaxy... you can really feel now substenstinal they are..

In this movie.. there are no jedis.. you cant see them.. you can people hear talk about the force.. but without any real attachment to what it really is or mean. Now you can understand even more why Luke is such a threat to the emperor !! Now you can really understand why its so important to hide luke and leia.. now you understand why he is "A new hope"




Disney.. yes.. you got this!!!! You have my trust and looking forward of many years of Star Wars to come !

They should just let him keep working on the score and release a new score on the blu-ray. It has potential.

Agreed, the score was terrible and a good score would have really helped the first hour. It was not memorable at all.
The last act would have been epic with a great score.

Tarkin in in charge of the Death Star construction.. Krennick for the Weapon.. Vader has nothing to do with the build of the first DS .. so that was all correct to me

Krennic scene was going to be it so I was pleasantly surprised when they decided to end the movie so close to E4, especially in that manner! Its got to be wild for Fisher to have seen herself not only youngified but also acting as a young Leia, that stuff was all really historic.
