Been saving up for this badboy in case it does hit the 2k mark. Just not sure if I could justify it to myself, even though I love me some Sauron badness.

Yeah, especially seeing as how the RW on steed, which is comparable in size/complexity, is only $799. I have a hard time believing that Sauron will be another $1200 on TOP of that. In other words the price of two and a half RW on Steeds.

Maybe SS will come to their senses and release him as a "normal" PF...

I'm almost certain that I will not get both Sauron and the Dark Rider PF. Regardless of price and how well Sauron turns out it's gonna be the 'Wraith for me.

If Sauron LSF, is going to be be £2000 forget it, the LS Figures are too overpriced, shouldn't be more then £1000. I could get two and a half Ringwraith on steeds premium formats for the price of this.

Still hoping they'll unveil this big fella at ComiCon. I'll never be able to afford him since he's almost certainly going to be an LSF (they name-checked him in the press release that introduced the LSF format, after all) but I still can't wait to see what he looks like. (Just because I'll never be able to afford a thing, doesn't mean I can't think it's awesome! I like looking at cars and houses I'll never be able to own, too!)

I thought they'd display him with the next round of LSFs like the set-up they had last year. Here's hoping.
