The common belief is that you typically want to space your figures out a bit when displayed, so as to prevent clutter and it provides a nice view of each figure. However, this just shows that a display can look awesome when you connect all the bases together. Really like the Marvel display in the first picture and the Star Wars display in the fourth and fifth picture.
Makes it seem as if they're all really standing next to one another on the same floor.

Been lurking the forum for a while and thought this would be a great place to make my first post! So many great collections in here!
This is how I have my collection set up right now. Also have a first avenger cap. Vision is coming this week so wil be reposing the crew again soon.

I think it's more about how it is executed than about rules about how many are grouped together. Jedi18 is a great example of a large group displayed and posed well. one think I like about these forums is that we can learn from one another how we might better display our figures.
