Thanks :wink1: If I ever get to complete an Avengers collection, it's going to be a jumbled bunch probably, Mk3 IM, TDK Thor, might use A1 Cap and save AoU Cap for the eventual Civil War setup, the rest will probably be from the AoU line, and I'll throw in Spidey in there. Biggest thing going against me right now is space...

Sounds like a good mix and I hear ya on the space issue. I'd love to be able to have a case for a nice diorama but that is not happening anytime soon lol

Cool thanks. The more spacious setup for TFA, while displaying more of each figure, would result in a cluttered WS where I'm probably going to need 2 units, so that's not going to be good. I could probably have an entire unit empty for Star Wars by doing 5 a shelf.

You're welcome. I think it looks really good as it is. I like how you have Cap from the first Avengers posed. :)

If I may proffer my opinion, you should have the right hand of your Star Spangled version of Cap with a fist and bend the arm to where his fist is against his waist.

It's definitely tough. You really have to think through and commit to a plan when those pre-orders come out. Unless you're that guy with the glass house of collectibles, you can't have everything... :lol

I was originally going to settle on the AoU cosbabies as my "Avengers" collection but I've been veering away from that since I did want to get SW and QS and Hawkeye from the AoU lines, plus they are bigger than the old crop of HT cosbabies, so I'm still trying to decide if I want to stick to that or not. Collecting an entire Avengers line costs a lot of money and I already spent a lot on the TDKT collection.

Thank you, and yes yes, I am always looking for opinions, suggestions, thoughts, they are all welcome! I actually tried that, and I even tried to make him salute, but I have to tell you the truth, the articulation on Star Spangled Man is a huge pain! :lol :gah: When bending the elbow with fist at waist pose, the shoulder pops up and does something weird, the construction of the true type they used was just bad. To make it look nice, you almost always have to have a museum pose unless you mod it, haha, even having him carry all the accessories doesn't look good as he is now to me, at least that's my personal opinion. I've tried very much to do the pointing pose of the posters and something to make him look interesting, but just how the figure is put together, it truly was a horrible mess. :lol My right arm is actually broken so it's hard to pose certain ways, I've been trying to get a new one on toyanxiety if they break it down again, but yeah, it's just a horrible figure, haha. I'm only keeping it to complete my TFA collection with that original Captain America look, but if I could, I would get rid of it in an instance.

Yeah it is a LOT. I saved quite a bit in advance so I could splurge on the AoU line and thank goodness I did because its a bit more spendy than I anticipated :slap I bet your TDKT collection is something to behold tho. All great figures!

I can't wait to see it, I know it's going to look spectacular! Are you gettting the entire set, including Hulkbuster?

TDKT is taking up like 5 of my units right now, might need another one, it's a lot of space and I'm almost seeing the excess now and possibly losing a few pieces, like a custom Nurse Joker or possibly even SWAT Gordon or something, but it's just too hard to give up since it won't feel as complete. I'll have to make a decision eventually. The Tumbler and the Bat requires one whole double unit, I'm going to try to put the Bat with the Batpod but in the air so it looks like it's flying.

I bought some premium formats and that took up space as well, haha, but they look really nice.

I can relate.

I really like my SSM Cap, but it has the worst body on any Cap figure, unfortunately. I really wanted to have him in a pose where it looks like he's pointing, but the "pointing hand" that he comes with looks more like that of a two fingered Darth Vader force choke than it does a point. I had a hard time trying to settle on a pose with him.

I just settled on the fist on the waist pose and that seems to suit him very well. I think yours would look really good in that pose also. :)

Do you have a photo of yours? I could change mine around, did you have the shield arm in that same mirror position as well to emulate the old Superman pose? :wink1:

Yup I'm even getting Hulkbuster! :thud: I have no idea how I am going to display everything :ohbfrank: but its a problem I am very happy to have! Do you have a collection thread?

I wish the fisted hand went just a bit higher, but I have mine in this pose.

I think you're going to have a lot of fun with Hulk vs Hulkbuster displays :joy I'm not even sure if both with fit in a BESTA unit side-by-side but that could deserve it's own space right there. Would've probably saved a double back-to-front for it so you have the depth to put everything into one section. It should look pretty awesome, and very colorful!

Not yet, I will be making one soon. I'm trying to get the poses first, so I've been taking pictures and posting and asking for advice and opinions/suggestions, so once I have those and everything in the shelves, I'll start the thread going through each unit. :wink1:

I have a spot in mind for Hulk and HB! And I plan on buying another detolf just for AoU figures

I am VERY much looking forward to your collection thread :panic:

Yeah, I know what you mean, moving it higher would push that shoulder higher and makes him look awkward. I don't know if it's possible to pose him with his arms not in resting position without having a hitch in his shoulder, haha. If they gave him a smiling head sculpt and updated body (I swear, it's like the same body as Rescue Cap but worse), this would've been my ideal pose: :lecture
