Just opened mine. Better pics later. First impression is that this is SS best figure to date.

The sculpt still doesn't hold up to the close scrutiny most HT sculpts can but in normal viewing distance he's great...really great. Outfit is awesome. Ankle articulation, although limited, is a huge improvement.

The overall scale of this thing is perfect. Very unSideshow like. No big head or hands syndrome whatsoever. This is so close to a perfect figure in every way that it just hurts that they didn't add a cloak and tighten up the head seams and paint apps a smidge to truly make it a $240 figure.

8/10 score!

You won't be disappointed, barring you don't get one with paint imperfections. Granted, it's quite an easy fix, if it's red on black. Or a lack of black. Warhammer paints, man. I swear by them.

Anyway, I have 65 one-sixth scale figures and this one is in my top three of the entire collection. I might be slightly biased, seeing as I started this hobby with Darth Maul and now I've come full circle. I am so glad to have both of them.

Does anyone have a slight curve to the ignited saber pieces? It's not extremely noticeable, so I'm not sure if i should try and straighten mine or just leave them.

Looks great with the robe. Glad I kept the orignal since he cost a whole $55 back when!! A custom robe would cost as much or more than what I paid for the original figure!! Maybe I'll pick this up one day...

I'm out of town and I already boxed the other one up and stored him in my closet till I can figure out where to put him in his newfound prison. I have only taken him out once. Not sure I want to take him out again. It completely slipped my mind to take comparison pics. :/

V1 is terrible what I'm waiting on is a outfit comparison and head side by side comparison with medicom and v2 maul. I customized my medicom with a new body head was shaved down to match a 89 Batman neck and I'm on the fence with what parts to buy from v2.

The outfit is definitely worth getting. Not sure the gloves are really required. I'm not sure the head would work with what you've got set up already. If you have room to display two Mauls, I would just get this one and "robe" the other.
