Really surprised they didn't redesign his helmet and face mask. That grill!

Eh, looks good enough there. I would be afraid if sideshow tried redesigning the helmet, would probably look worse. If they had only used this body suit on the deluxe vader i would have bought that one. This one doesn't come with the nice stand and extras that one did, but i could not get past that body suit of the deluxe.

I passed on the HT ANH version because I wanted the shined up ROTJ Vader... But I might have to get this since Hot Toys is dragging their feet. Looks pretty good to me, better gloves too.

When i can i will. Need a vader in my collection, especially now that i have seen that HT are doing the same ****** gloves on the 1/4 ROTS version that they did with the EP4 version. I hate those 2 piece gloves crap.

Sold my Deluxe and I'm going to get this figure. First time I've "upgraded" a figure...I also have the HT head coming in so it should make for a nice figure. I'll share pictures with you collectors when I have all the pieces.

I might get this if HT doesn't reveal a ROTJ Vader at the event next week. The mask isn't perfect but overall the figure looks good.

You could also switch out the chest armor for HT Vader armor; the HT Vader's upper chest armor has the correct slight concave curve in the middle.

Some event in Hong Kong called ACGHK, where Hot Toys will have an even larger show than they did at SDCC. There will be an airport battle display from CW with a 1/6 Giant Man, and some sort of Endor display with an AT-ST, so I'm hoping they are finally gonna show ROTJ figs.

Preview scans were posted on Facebook yesterday.

I can see them releasing a 1/6th scale Rogue One Vader over a ROTJ version. I think I'm still going to grab the Sideshow version and put the HT helmet on it tho (even with a future HT Vader looming). I think it will look amazing and I'd be satisfied. Plus, my big want now is that 1/4 Vader.
