You are welcome and yeah price is way too much especially since EB/Hot Toys paint jobs are so much better. However, I think the paint job on the proto for this looks fine in the pics I have posted but not the SDCC pics.

Could be just an assumption, but I believe the one shown at SDCC was the proto. And even in the pics you posted, while it looks slightly better, it looks more cartoony than realistic IMO.

What does that mean?

If something bodes ill, it makes you think that something bad will happen in the future. Like due to the bad proto paint, the production paint will probably be worse

This statue was a day one order.

I canceled my ex superman because something just does not look right to me. The things I dislike most is the non fabric cape and the ex eyes.

Depending on how the Reeves version looks (hopefully AWESOME), it will be my classic suit styled superman represented in our collection.

For now, The Man of Steel will be more than welcomed into our home and collection.

It is interesting ...starting with THIS piece there have been a whole lot of
PFs go up that have YET to have an ES attached to them... It does make me wonder what the orders are like as well.

Well, I think its about overflooding the market in terms of ES and Price. They have released many expensive items all at once with high or unlimited ES. High Price and High ES lowers demand. Why would they allow two Superman's on PO at once

I think they are trying to hop on the bandwagon to fast now. Like with Pacific Rim, they were showing the statues before the movie even came out. that's why Gypsy doesn't light up and has an awkward pose. You gotta give a product time to shape itself.

I got Sauron, the droids, both Superman, Black Widow, batman and Harley all on flex...that's several hundred a month. Now they are planning on releasing Cody Do I want Hulk, yes, just cant afford him.

I dislike this PF but think the comic PF Supes looks amazing. If I won this PF I would give it away but of course to each their own. Some dislike the comic PF and like this one...
