How in the h--- do you get this figure's boots on when you change her outfit? I tell it's the hardest thing that I have ever done and had to give up after a good half an hour.

There's a caucasian and a hispanic.
Hispanic's wayyyy off of course, but unfortunately the caucasian is as well. It isn't bad at all, but the tone is definitely different.

Bingo.
The improvements in quality alone are worth the slight discrepancies.
Also you can pretty easily switch the SS hands with the PB hands by removing them from the pegs (not the main pegs, but where the hand meets the wrist pegs) and cutting a tiny bit off the tip of the PB pegs.
Did that make any sense???

I can relate. I've done the same myself.
It is a nice piece once you get it re-bodied. My biggest gripe is having to work that hard on a figure after spending that much money on it.
But hey...I loves me some Lara Croft.

The flash is less than flattering in that area. It's honestly not as bad as it looks.
It kinda' bugs me, but there's no way in hell I have the balls or the skill to do a paint-match, so....

I must say that getting that sweater on was torture on both Lara and me! I don't even want to try the shorts outfit, especially the boots! It really did feel like you were going to tear the shirt, or at the very least stretch it to beyond recognition! But I'm surprised it all snapped back into shape. I did have to take her hands and head off--hard work in and of itself, although I did not do the heating trick. But rest assured I absolutely will next time (if there is a next time!).
I should also mention that the rifle is a little heavy for some of the joints. So while the pistols were fine and Lara could sustain pretty much any pose I put her in with the guns, the rifle would weigh her bicep or wrist joint down at certain points. Kinda sucky but I'm okay with it. Everything else makes up for it.

I was expecting the worst about Lara with her joints, but the one I have is nice a tight.
I have her displayed in her shorts and top, and she looks stunning, no need for a body swap, which I am very pleased about.
