I imagine many young ‘uns - the most important audience for this ongoing franchise - will be more than willing to accept this new iteration.

I only wonder if the Disney reboot will start with Ep 4 or Ep 1.

Ep 1 would be cool because by the time they get to 4 Ewan Mcgregor will be perfectly seasoned for Oldbi-Wan.

There's no way in hell they will remake the OT...but Disney really wants their own version of SW, with new actors, and new characters. In about 10 to 15 years, SW will be unrecognizable to those who grew up with the Luca films.

They’ll reboot. Once they prequelize Luke and Leia.

From what I see around my neck of the woods it's already happening.

I only wonder if the Disney reboot will start with Ep 4 or Ep 1.

I don't see that happening but who knows what the Mouse will do.

All I wan is an Obi-Wan movie with McGregor.

I want that Kenobi movie too!

I’m not advocating for a reboot, but it seems so obvious from a business standpoint.
The OT is my SW but I would be curious to see how a remake might smooth out the incest...I mean edges.

After seeing what Johnson did to Skywalker, I wouldn't mind a prequel of prime Skywalker, set a few years after ROTJ to wash the taste of TLJ. Get The Winter Soldier to play him. An adventure where he fights one of Palpatine's apprentices/Vader replacement. Put the fake Solo in there too.

One of the worst aspects of RJ's vandalism of Luke is that he spent 20 years in exile. That's 20 years worth of no stories in print or on screen.

One of the worst aspects of RJ's vandalism of Luke is that he spent 20 years in exile. That's 20 years worth of no stories in print or on screen.

I think it's about 15 years. If he's around 65 in TLJ, then he was around 50, so that means Luke can still have some adventures in his 20's, 30's and 40's. Knowing Disney/Lucas film, they'll cast some guy that looks nothing like Mark Hamill.

I have most of the graphic novels Marvel has done since Disney took over. Pretty good stuff so far.

I wish everyone could have the joy of experiencing Star Wars the way that my 7 and 5 year old sons do...my 7 year old came and grabbed me and said Daddy I want to watch the Star Wars with Tatooine and the Jawas (so IV not VI) and my 5 year old chimed in. Blu Ray goes on with the boys gathered around me. When C3po and R2d2 were walking through the sands of Tatooine my 5 year old asked if Tatooine is hotter than Jakku. When Luke made his first appearance they contrasted his youthful appearance with how different he is than when he is training Rey on the island and reacted with the fascination they have to seeing childhood pictures of me or my wife. When Obi Wan Kenobi showed up to save Luke they both referenced the excellent "Twin Suns" episode of Star Wars Rebels (if you haven't seen it don't want to spoil it but there is an amazing connection). Then they referenced Padme's death in Episode III during a Vader scene. They were cheering when Han Solo made his first appearance and even though they have seen the movie a bunch of times this character resonated with them on a new level because we have been watching the trailer for the "new Star Wars movie" together so much. After the credits rolled they immediately asked to watch the Solo trailer again...say what you want about them being 5 and 7 but this is the way Star Wars is meant to be enjoyed and for anyone who is asking how people can "still like it" my only suggestion may be to spend a Sunday afternoon with my kids. Christmas as an adult is kind of weird...but Christmas with kids always feels like Christmas.

Old Republic film might be interesting..really impressed what they did with the games and when they did the story modes in the past.

Well, Ingruber sure looks like a teenage Ford... but he's not a very good actor. Watch his "Ingruber imitates Han Solo" vid. Any of us could likely do that well. I would imagine the producers just felt he was too green to carry an entire movie.

He does look exactly like younger version of Harrison Ford @-@

This is what hollywood should do and then add voice actors or the same actora do dub them, they did this back in the 50’s and 60’s with european actresses, i totally see a han solo off him
