Oh, I know what you mean. I tried finding Jorge Blanco's website or e-mail, to no avail. Then one day he popped up as a fan on Dan's Dinosaurs Facebook page. :lol

Well..what's his facebook page !?..don't leave me in suspense.. ;D :gah: ;)

That reminds me..I could add you to my haunt's facebook..I don't have a personnal one though.. :/

No worries Dan, I found it !

Some nice artwork there in his albums... ;)

If the Stegosaurus maquette is going to be huge, then I think I must start saving a lot of $$$ in order to purchase it here (its going to obviously cost more than $1000 here....)

I do currently have enough money to pre-order the Spinosaurus maquette though....:yess:

It certainly pays to be cautious... ;)

I can easily see it being bigger than the Styracosaur...maybe as long as the Rex ? If it is more expensive than the maquettes, I would just re-name it a Diorama instead. It sound like one already with the larger base and two dinos present at least..even if they are the same species.

Little off topic but has anyone here gone to see "walking with dinosaurs the arena spectacular"? Its coming to copps coliseum in Hamilton June 2-6th. Me and the lady wanna check it out...looks pretty impressive. Wondering if its worth the admission.

The WwD Live Show was spectacular. It's quite expensive, but seeing lifesize dinosaurs walking around is definitely worth it, right? The full-scale Brachiosaurus towers right over you, it's insane.

That being said, it's obviously geared toward kiddies, so don't go in expecting a Sideshow-esque bloodbath or anything. You can actually see quite a bit of footage on YouTube, as well.

Sounds good...I think were going to check it out. We'll bring her little sister....you know so we fit in a little :)

So the new spino pictures go up at 6:00pm SS time?

Isn't it great to have friends or family with kids you can drag off everytime you want to browse a toy store or go a see a movie your friends wouldn't be caught dead in... ;)

I figure sometime tonight..if it's 6:00 there it will be about 9:00pm here.

Ah, it's awesome. And thank God, some colors!

Hmmm..to nit pick at first..no pointy spines on the sail and I'm a bit disappointed in the base..no water at all..just seemed natural some would be present since shoreline and shallows are thought to be his primary element .

My thoughts exactly. I was really hoping for water to be a big part of this base. :dunno

I often worry that my Queen Alien maquette will suffer from her leaning pose, and this Spino maquette looks to be even worse. I hope he will be balanced out well enough that it won't matter.

The maquette itself is amazing and will take command respect in any collection. I can't wait to take pics of this titan.:yess:

The base seems sand-colored, so it could be a coastal area. Any idea what that flora might be? I can't view the high-res retailer images, as they haven't been posted yet.

Wow, that's awesome. I really like the coloring on the sail. But seriously, I have no clue how the hell I'm going to afford it or where the hell I'm going to put it...

Man..not diggin' the price..that was really unexpected...it is pretty much as expensive as the Allo VS Camara..but that one had three animals in it.

This guy is pretty much running the same price as any of the dios...and I kind of agree with Jeremy up there though..this kind of feels very unstable-ish... I really hope I'm wrong and it has a good armature and balanced weight.

I'm not 100% certain..but there could be a puddle near his foot that's touching the ground..kind of hard to tell.

I might just use the black marble slab I bought for the Deino piece for him..it would look like water around this shore line.

I do like the color more now that I see the whole piece..I really wish McVey had continued his small spine work along the main sail though.
