I just ordered a Shiny. can't wait!

I was going to suggest Echo and Fives if you were putting him with the 501st as you suggested above. Of course a few drawbacks with that are they are phase 1 only (if you prefer phase 2), they cost more (but are better value on a per head basis), they aren't on double rewards and oh yeah, you already ordered the shiny :p

Congrats, you won't be disappointed. Now lets see how long until you tell us you've grabbed a second!

I like the ARC Echo/Fives more if I had to choose. I am also more of phase 2 helmet fan. And it will be difficult to hold off on one more. I am holding out for a stormtrooper re-release and a ROTJ Boba.

Some more "Shiny" shots

Are the guns on these guys based on the animated series? The gatling-like gun is really poorly designed if it's supposed to be used on the ground - totally unusable because of he impossible hand position required to hold the trigger/grip. If it's supposed to only be used from the air, such as form the side of a hovering vehicle, and only capable of shooting down at a sharp angle, then maybe.

Either way, I'm going to break it apart, possibly install some lighting and reverse the orientation of the trigger grip so it makes at least some sense for a figure displayed on a shelf.

Also, is the folding part of the smaller blaster supposed to be a shoulder stalk?

I always said I wouldn't buy multiple clones, but all these pics with armies of clones have me reconsidering that.

I haven't pulled the trigger on any. I do like the look of the Phase I Shiny, but the PT has very little resonance for me so I've resisted pretty easily up to now.

In terms of OT troop building...I found that two to three is a good number without anything getting out of hand.

To each their own; my collector OCD stays at war with my minimalist OCD and keeps things lean, numbers wise. But who doesn't like the look of a swarm of armoured troops!

I am working on finding a place to set up a battle scene / display...with 212th or Vet clones with a bunch of clankers....hopefully pics soon...but for now they are still on shelf...

I don't get it either, Z-6 has proper grip in the series.

Well, with the free shipping, I caved and bought a Shiny. I wasn't going to since I have so many and like the battle damage/weathering. Two shinys in my army now.
