Lord Vader have arrived
My first Vader figure and man so glad I chose this one (Wanted ROTJ but can’t resist the battle damage parts of Kenobi one)

I was a bit careless when moving and putting him back in the box, and now the folds on the right side of his tunic are a bit looser than the other side. What ways could one tighten up the folds again? Pinch and squeeze? Is water treatment a thing?

I got a waitlist conversion last week. Not the biggest fan of Star Wars but grew up with the original trilogy. Iv never felt the need for a Vader as it’s just a big dark cloaked figure. Iv got a stormtrooper as I loved the kenner versions I had as a child in the 80s.
So decided to take a chance on this as it’s pretty late to get a conversion.
Well f**k me! If this is not one of the most impressive figures Iv got. I got bane at the same time and I’m spending a lot more time with this guy.
The gloves poses are perfect-u could literally recreate any of the movie poses with them.
I’m absolutely blown away by how good he is, for something I got on a whim he’s without doubt a keeper and one the my favourites now! So glad I took that waitlist conversion.

Confused on what the difference is between choosing DX27 and DX28 when they're the same figure outside of the clean helmet and chest plate being included.

Trying out some smart plugs with my Hot Toys setup: Govee smart plug, with a dual-port USB-C to AC adapter plugged into it. Strangely, while the base for my ROTJ Vader lights up that way, the base for this Kenobi one won’t. I’ve tried switching cables, and plugging the USB-C adapter directly into the wall. and nothing. However, it still lights up with the USB-A wall plug and A to C cable I was using for it before.

Anyone have any idea why the Kenobi base wouldn’t work with a dual-port USB-C wall adapter?

For whatever reason you can only use a USB C Cable that has USB A at the end. I have 2 imperial Bases from Kenobi's Vader and neither Light up with USB C to USB C. Don't know why but that's the only way it works.

Usb charging is a much more complex topic than one might think. I am by far no expert. Had to learn this as well with a rechargable bike light. The light had a Usb C port, but this did not mean it works with a Usb C to Usb C cable or poweradapter. It only did work with a Usb C to Usb A cable. The charging electronics in the device are the important thing.

Unfortunately there is no way to tell without trying. Best indication is the cable which is included with the device.

If there is a best option for lighting USB-powered HT figures in a display cabinet, I'd really appreciate any recommendations. Now that I've finally added lighting to my Milsbos, it'd be great to have the figures' electronics working too.
