if it wasnt for jye and khevirino keep trying to change the haters by insulting them then no one would bother anymore
they are the gift that keeps on giving lol

LOL, How many times a day do you think they PM each other?

“Hey you say this, and then I’ll respond and say this, ok”
“Yeah ok, and then I’ll say this and you respond with this :hi5:

:rotfl

Maybe $28 mill = 4 million yuan :chase

We do owe them like 50 trillion dollars :lol

Maybe we can pay them off with Disney Dollars. :lol

Don't fool your self. :lol
The only thing you get from these threads is hate towards people who are upset or make fun of stuff you love.

Speak for yourself. Even though they're wrong (heh heh) I'd easily jump at the chance to catch a flick IRL with most of the naysayers in this thread. I "hate"JAWS, Wor-Gar, SNIKT, Clown Prince, crows, Gaspar, a-dev, Star Puffs, etc? Come on now... :nono

It's just one movie. Before you know it there'll be another BR 2049 that has us all singing kumbaya again. I'm guessing that that film will be IW.

Might have to turn your volume up:

:lol

This one is not as good:

The effort that must have gone into perfecting this :lol

No. At least for me the "degree of woundedness" that has resulted in a completely savage and apparently bottomless eruption of rage:lsvader from some quarters to me was more baffling than anything. Tho some of the outbursts are funny:lol. It's not a question of living with myself - I thought Ragnarok was hilarious but that film has haters too.

Because IMO none of the Star Wars movies are what I think of as "perfect" films anyway. Which to me is pretty rare, whether a large blockbuster or small independent film.

I highly doubt anyone thinks Star Wars is perfect. All the films(including the ot) have been ripped apart and discussed to death since the 80s, it’s truly nothing new. The PT was ripped apart as well. Now it’s the ST’s turn. Perhaps you didn’t experience the past ones so this seems so negative to you? Lol ‘savage’ is Star Wars fans lowest setting.

Honestly, if you enjoy the film, I’m glad you do, and don’t let anyone’s opinion dissuade you. Love it. But just understand that for many people this film destroyed something they love, and so the ‘hate’ is just a way of getting it out by having fun with it. Heck, I’d say its pretty mild on this forum, it’s mostly just crazy memes.

And ignore anyone who actually calls you an ‘a-hole,’ no point in giving any attention to such idiots

No matter how good or bad a prequel or sequel is, for me it doesn't change the quality of what came before it. If I let AOTC determine my love for ESB, id have given up long ago on the galaxy far, far away.

Well it’s good that none of us are giving up on or letting TLJ affect the quality or our love of the older films either. By saying destroying something I love, I meant interest going forward, I thought it was clear from my earlier posts I still love what came before. I’m also really glad Lucas ended the OT the way he did as it’s a complete ending and one can completely ignore what comes after.

You keep bringing up Aotc 16 years after it was released. You even brought it up when someone was reviewing Conan the destroyer in the review thread. I’m sure then you can understand the hate on this while it’s still fresh, as many think it’s worse than Aotc.

TLJ hasn't ruined the OT for me in any way. But it has made me no longer care about what happens in the universe going forward. That does kind of suck.

Agree, This probably sums up how 99% of the folks disappointed with TLJ (yes us haters) feel. I personally never thought I would hate any SW movie to the point that I'd stop carrying what comes next.. TLJ was an epiphany in that regard.

So, because of one film, you have no further desire to see a Star Wars tale unfold a hundred or even two-hundred years after the fall of the Empire? A tale that finally, hopefully, no longer involves the Chosen One and his descendants? Okay. If you say so.

Yes that is what they are saying.

Time to vent. The forever lingering stink of the Last Jedi infects everything. The character progression of the OT undone. The rules of the Force and how it undermines past conflicts. And the knowledge of the travesty that comes next.
