Whelp bad news for folks who for various reasons did not like TLJ...it IS Star Wars...Abrams will pick up where it left off and Johnson will have 3 more films to further sow his vision of the Star Wars universe...the folks at Lucasfilm who own the thing get to tell the stories, fans and haters alike get to watch them or not watch them whichever they prefer. Me and a whole bunch of other people (has an A Cinemascore so it's not just critics)are very happy about this...the folks who are repeat bombing the film on Rotten Tomatoes are not. If some folks want to raise several billion dollars, try to buy LFL away from Disney, fire Kennedy and create their own writer's room made up of their old D&D group to bring their no doubt bad fan fiction to life they should have at it. At that point I will decide that I no longer like Star Wars...fortunately that is not going to happen so I can still enjoy it and maybe it's time for some others to move along...rewatch the Lord of the Rings movies...jump into the Fast & Furious franchise...

I loved the opening space battle. Rose's sister should have been Rose.

:lol

Really liked it as well btw, thought that was pretty much a perfect opening. That's why I didn't see this mess coming until Luke threw away Anakin's lightsaber.

Well Disney will either dig their heels in deeper and ignore the backlash because they can easily handle a 65% box office 2nd weekend drop or they will change course to decrease the SJW stuff that’s got fans going rabid.

It could just be that Disney is doing this on purpose to get rid of a certain group of SW fans who knows.

Disney is now too big too fail so they would be the studio to go and do something like that.

If they did it’s working perfectly in their favor lol.

I bet Disney is working on this article as we speak:

”KKK and Breitbart using TLJ as recruitment tool” :lol

And... my sister has it.

whatever she did worked, she looks very hot still

There's that balancing act between looking good, and being able to move your mouth to deliver your lines...

Maybe Daisy's on/off stilted delivery was in sympathy for Carrie?

Love Luke or hate him in this flick there's no denying that Hamill delivered the acting goods. I wonder if that actually makes it worse for some of you, that he really made you believe that you were watching Luke himself sucking teets, contemplating murder, etc., lol.

Did you hear how the apologists loved this concept? They felt it elevated Leia greatly and gave the character more depth and gravitas. They placed her gravity-defying antics up there with Vader's Force-choking and Palps' Lightning blasts.
