Price is high, this will put people off. I therefore see a small edition size in my crystal ball, and when owner pix start and she immediately sells out, or has already sold out there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. C'est la collecting!

Doubt it, the movie sucked so I think most people are on the fence with this one. Even small editions seem to have a hard time selling out anymore, but if for some reason it did sell out fast It wouldn't bother me. I have a feeling the edition size will be a 1500+ given Leto's Joker PF is coming out next and they will want to have enough Harley's to help sell that one.

I think it looks real good but I'm not going to get suckered into pre-ordering this one... I've been burned to many times by SS factories, going to wait and see what the production versions look like before buying.

I take it you mean from their horrible paint jobs as their sculpts themselves rarely look noticeably different to their protos.

Few, I'd venture to guess, are buying this because they think SSq was a great movie. I loved it, and even I think the plot needed a lot of work.

The reason they are buying it is because Harley and J stole the show. Those two were lightning in a bottle. People loved them together, and Robbie hit Harley's first big-screen appearance out of the park. Harley and J were big magic. They stole every scene they were in.

People are commemorating that, I'd bet. I know that's why I want this piece. I really enjoyed many of the CHARACTERS in this film, I liked most of them, especially El Diablo, but the plot was a nothing-burger and even I admit that.

They straight up threw Enchantress away.

It did and that's why I cancelled. Called Sideshow about refunding my $50 nrd and no questions asked. I already used my one get out of jail card mind you, so it wasn't a one time courtesy nrd refund. I bet they new it was an issue.

It was just the paint. That's how bad the paint was, and I can't blame people who cancelled the figure and/or those who think that the sculpt was changed. However, the latter isn't true. Before I repainted mine I had it next to photos of the proto, and the only change was that the tip at the bottom neck of the cowl became rounder, which is inaccurate to the movie design.

If only that figure was released on time (almost the same time period as Armored Bats PF), maybe it could have ended up much better. Or maybe not. But what's for certain is that bad paint is giving them a hard time to make a quicker sell out of a statue with fairly small ES (1250 Reg).

They should have refunded you without taking that one-time NRD refund credit, though, since it was their fault messing up with an otherwise good figure.

Leto's punk version of Joker was lame IMO..... as For Harley, true she was the best part of the movie but the writers really missed the mark because they should of written a ton of black humor for her (like in the comics) but they didn't.... I doubt many people are buying the Harley PF because they thought Harley was so good in the movie, I would bet it's more likely they think Margot Robbie is hot and want a statue of her. IMO

I have seen your repaint man and I must say you make it look like a totally different sculpt, you fixed the lips by painting them thinner, so that they look more like Afleck's lips. You did an amazing job!



Thanks for confirming that is pretty much the same sculpt, because that was the only sculpt to my knowledge where people thought Sideshow changed the product sculpt from the proto.

This isn't just about the film; this duo [H&J] has a ton of fans, including more female fans than you might think. There are people who have been Harley fans for years before this movie ever happened. The target audience is not only people who went to see the film - although there is significant Venn diagram overlap of course.

Is everyone who bought anything with "Arkham Knight" on it a fan of the game? Maybe, but sometimes people buy stuff because they just happen to like it. And this is a beautiful sculpt.

I think the Ming Porcelain Stormtrooper is lame - but people are buying that, because its not just about what one person thinks, but the fan base as a whole. I detest the Jack Nicholson Joker - but plenty of people love him. It takes all kinds.

Isn't that what I just said? Most people probably won't buy it because of the movie but because the actress is hot and it's Harley who has become really popular over the last few years. Leto was pretty much slammed from fans and critics.... The people who like Leto as Joker seems to be the minority...

I like Leto as the Joker - as one Version of the Joker who tries to be different Jokers at once.

I like Ledgers Joker…or Nicholson or Romero, their versions for their story line.
Every Joker incarnation had ups and downs

But hey, I heard there is this upcoming small movie The Flash. They gonna do Flaspoint, and they will get rid of different characters. So maybe Letos Joker is one of them. Let's pretend Suicide Squad never happened. Maybe Deadshot Will Smith will be gone, too.

I think the only reason to buy this probably is cause it's a Margot statue. The joker was really really lame. He was more punk than scary. Imagine his club scenes. A guy like that / 90 pct folks will punch him before he even begins yapping. Compare that to ledger, he was scary, edgy, intelligent and overall amazing screen presence. Leto is a good actor (Dallas buyers etc) but the joker incarnation was horrible!
