Trevolver just do me a favor and sculpt the PF's for ROTS Anakin, ROTS Obi-Wan, Padme, Bespin Luke, Aragorn, and Gandalf. Sound like a plan?

For this level of excellence, you ought to be able to afford it!

I'm making slightly more than a thousand bucks a month, but I'll just find a way to get this piece.

that's a good question, Batty, I was thinking we might see that doll... Sideshow's gotta keep some ammunition held back for later though! :)

and I'll be happy to do whatever Sideshow wants me to tackle...so long as I feel capable!!

I may sporadically collect this line, much like I do with the GG statues.

I admire this one, but I'm not into the price tag and the pose doesn't click for me, I'm just ready to see Obi-Wan fall backward and splash into the lava while Anakin declares "Tuh-Dah" as he takes a bow!

The key to a good VS. diorama is to avoid making the fight look one-sided. There's not as much drama in one character getting their butt kicked; the fight needs to be too close to call. You can't have the villain win, but if the hero wins too easily it lacks a sense of drama and challenge.

Anyway, with this it looks like Obi-Wan is about to fall backwards into the lava--which is particularly inappropriate given the outcome of this duel.

However--Trevor said that it looks like he isn't angled properly and I believe him.

I gotta admit, the first time I fell in lava it was pretty rough.

this is very expensive but id buy this dio instead of a pf luke/yoda
any day...the detail on obi and anikin is simply jaw dropping + capturing an iconic moment in the heat of battle..its a must for me.

Definitely an iconic moment Doc. There are many scense from the Anakin/Obi-Wan battle that could have been used; and, I'm happy with the poses chosen. Good to see SS not fall in line with the armchair artists thoughts on balance and just go for it! Kudos!

im still hoping for an exclusive but with an es of 2000 its not likely:monkey2

OUCH DAMN! No thanks, I mean I wasn't sold on it anyway, it's PT, but shooooot that's too much for me! It is gigantic, so I guess I understand, I was hoping for a basic price point of like $200 though, after shipping this thing will be damn near $300! If it was ROTJ final duel though....it'd be worth it!:emperor :emperor :emperor

That had to leave a mark. :lol

Overall, the price is in line with the Marvel ones which is what I figured would be the case with these. Since I'm only getting so few of these the price doesn't hurt quite as bad.

Easy pass. Weird scale.

Now, if they'd make the piece of machinery that Anakin and Obi_Wan are standing on into a 1:6 environment, I would probably have been sold.

Anyway, more money for the HT Power Loader. W00t!

Well, the more I look at my Luke and Yoda ex PF the more I love it... this piece is really great IMO... I don't understand why somebody dislike it and says It's not worth it... anyways to remain faithful to the thread I have just said that this diorama is fantastic and I really expected the price point to be 280 dollars as this is huge and really well done.

While I'm not thrilled about the price, I really need to consider this more. I actually hope there isn't an exclusive so I can get it for around $250 from a retailer.

I already have the 12" of these guys. I can't imagine them not being done in PF.

Do I really need a third version of these guys?

Yes Loki, "using force mind powers"...yes You need the PF Obi and Vader Sith Apprentice fom ROTS... and I'm using force powers to Sideshow people too... so sooner or later we'll get Obi and Anakin Pfs from Revenge of the Sith for sure... and all this because the Force is strong with me... Thank me guys:D
