Very possible. Mental capacity and adrenaline can easily show how one can hold as much and so forth. So muscular structure and weight density can be something that genetically makes sense. Especially a radioactive spider. Only one is wall crawler. Can't really explain that. You have to consider the serious mutation if he had organic sacs. Despite his other abilities, his body should die from that sort of damage. That's just me over thinking it :lol

Also I like the man-made as it shows how Peter is: a scientific scholar. Also plenty of his greatest defeats and victories have sometimes the factor of webbing. It makes him seem human, where Raimi's seems like a overnight wonder.

Yeah but I personally find it hugely implausible that a high-schooler could come up with this technology and somehow no one else has. That's at least as much of a ''wtf'' as having organic web shooters.

And considering then that at least one of his other abilities is completely inexplicable I think organic web-shooters have to get a pass.

I did like that the technological ones of the ASM films brought about scenarios where he had to repair them or find another way to tackle a situation but, as Difabio said, it didn't make the films any better. Also the Raimi films had that thing where his ability to use the shooters was influenced by his psychology so that worked in a similar way to malfunctioning or broken shooters.

That psychology thing happened regardless. Obviously it wouldn't make sense if the shooters worked and not his other powers.

You do make a point about how a teen can make that but it was a bit split. I mean look how the wweb was made. It was Oscorp. Also to be fair, Tony was what 25 when captured? It isn't far fetched that Peter could be that smart.

I personally felt more emotional that because he shooters were damaged, Stacy helped and essentially got the ax. I just like how ASM stuck to....well ASM :lol

Tony Stark was 25 when he was captured? In the film? He looked like a 40+ year old guy. :lol

He looks forty but remember how it was all being said how he took reign at like 21 and has been doing well within a short time. But them again Iron Man 3 ****ed up everything showing that '99 party :slap.

Regardless, Stark was Hella smart at a young age, why can't Pete?

EDIT: I'm just gonna go with, I don't know what I'm saying about Starks age :lol

Look, in the last two movies he had super duper, high school genius invented contraptions on his wrists but that didn't make the movies any better. Who cares.
He was reading dad's journal, listening to other students, watching youtube videos and getting lectured by Gwen for stuff.
This version of Pidah Parkah wasn't genius. In a bad way.

Web shooters didn't make any freaking sense in this "dilogy". NONE.
Just usual poorly written forced thing from comics just cause "fans demanded".

:exactly: :lecture

they didn't make sense? the whole electro thing was about his web shooters :lol

In Amazing Fantasy he was the one who made shooters. I'm not talking about the film, I'm sure fans wanted that; but that is direct source material. If it was **** and no one liked it, the series wouldn't have hit 700 issues.

I felt that it added it. His shooters failed and got Capt. Stacy killed. His shooters got fried and had to think in nanoseconds to save people from that car. I love the visual effects especially with the shooters, I just feel people go out to bombard it. YouTube videos? Well it seems they wanted to add humor and a rapport with audience. Uncle Ben said he had to stop helping his homework at a young age cause he was surpassing his own ability. This is source material...Parker is smart (I wouldn't go to say genius, but that's another debate issue). Look at Raimi, he had nothing to do with science except that "cute" little scene of did-you-know between Harry and MJ, his scholarship in science, his intro with Norman, and college days with Gwen. Also they made him way too much a dork. It was like Harry was his only friend. Source material again, Parker was friends with a lot of people; even Flash!

Source material for me is key. Pete has to be at an almost genius level, charismatic, shooters, love of science, and what both got wrong: Ben was killed by a robber; in home not that roaming street ****.

I don't care if Peter Parker has organic web, man made web-shooters or if he bought the web shooters on ebay. As long as he looks and acts like Spiderman, don't care where the web comes from, even though I prefer organic. As long as he's not scientifically accurate, he'll be fine :monkey3

Just makes me realize spiders are even more disgusting than I originally thought.

Watch 'em to know 'em.

They has some good bits, tons of missed opportunities and unused potential.
Meh and crap overall.

Thanks guys, I'll give it a shot! Most, if not all my buddies said the movies were bad, it kinda put me off watching them. I sort of liked Sam Raimi's trilogy, as campy and nonsensical as it was.

Both series have there flaws but as of now I loved how raimi showed a sense of wonder and amazement with spiderman. The amaing spiderman to me had potiential i didnt expect that movie to blow me away at all but I like how real the world felt in it. But to this day i still get chills when i watch this

I want to feel that sort of intense wonder an emotion again. And the music always fit so well. Not a fan of the asm theme at all never was. All they have to do is merge Garfield personality spiderman and throw in the epicness and majectic themes of the first movies and you got a winner. We'll see what happens in january.

Then, if you liked Raimi's trilogy ( like I did) brace yourself! You're in for a huge disappointment!

The new guy is a terrible Peter Parker (though his witty Spidey is great)

EDIT: probably old news for you guys but I'm too lazy to check back. Rumor has it Raimi's would be in talks for the next installment.
